I am deeply saddened by his son's murder but this father is disgraceful.

Same here- whatever happened to loyal opposition, or honorable opponents? The seem to have vanished with the Clinton Nineties. The Father didn't lose a second spinning this tragedy into a "I hate Boosh! And you should, too!" moment. It is utterly shameless exploitation, for cheap advantage in the political arena. It baffles me.

I gave the Father some slack, it's the media that's exploiting this Father's grief for their own political agenda. Kerry of course is a disgrace to use his phone call to the Father for his political purposes. This isn't going to help Kerry or the Berg Family for that matter.

What if Berg was really in Iraq for some other purpose and authorities held him he was considered a risk so was killed. What was an unemployed person with a job waiting for him at home doing in Iraq looking for work? What kind of parent immediately starts spewing left wing politics the minute his son dies?

Maybe the son was not a big fan of our President either.

Echoes of the Wellstone funeral. In their minds, death is good if it contributes to the Democrat agenda.
