I gave the Father some slack, it's the media that's exploiting this Father's grief for their own political agenda. Kerry of course is a disgrace to use his phone call to the Father for his political purposes. This isn't going to help Kerry or the Berg Family for that matter.
I wish I could, but it seems to me Mr. Berg's cause means more to him than his own son. Bet he makes the rounds on TV to promote himself and his cause and you can look for him at the Democratic Convention too.
My initial reaction too, until he opened his mouth and blamed Bush. I have a son Nick's age. If he was slaughtered like a goat I think my last reaction would be to make a political statement.
The media is doing what we know it does but nobody put words in this creep's mouth. It is he who is using his beloved son's death for political purposes.
