There was a Cambone (Defense Department, I think) who was interviewed by the Senate Armed Serices Committee during the Iraqi Prisoner pic fiasco.
Is this the same Cambone? I don't remember the full name of the guy at the SASC interrogation.

Whatever happened to "Journalistic Integrity", "Check your facts", etc. The GLOB has blatantly shown their bias and their credibility goes out the window!..........

Facts don't matter to Le Globe. What matters is the SERIOUSNESS OF THE CHARGES.

Answered my own question with a google search.
Stephen A. Cambone, undersecretary of defense for intelligence
Wonder whether he is related???

The anti-military/anti-Bush leftist pukes at the Globe wanted these pics to be authentic so badly that they didn't even consider the possibility that they could be fraudulent.

Pat Whitley has his own show again? Good for him.
I'm not surprised that the Globe didn't verify the photos. After all, that wouldn't be very P.C. of them to question the word of a black muslim liberal councilman.

Sadiki Cambone is well known to the Boston area talk show community to push the "Nation of Islam" line whenever he comes on.

I think we should promote a:
CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION DAY
We could make an impact with an organized effort to cancel subscriptions to all leftist newspapers, news magazines, etc., on the SAME DAY.
Subscriber numbers serve as their "ratings" to show to potential advertisers for sales purposes. Hit these bozos in the wallet and maybe it will wake up their "objectivity" for a change.

My god even the Bush hating DUers have debunked these and said these are fakes and can be seen at a porn site. These pictures have been all over the internet for more than a month now and everyone knows they are fake. How dumb can the Boston Globe be?

my reply from Chris Chinlund of the Globe after I emailed the "ombudsman" link:
**The Globe should not have run the photo. It appeared as the result of a miscommunication between photo staffers, and a collapse of the usual 'checks and balances' system. In my next column I will provide a more detailed explanation of how this lamentable mistake happened..
Sincerely,
Chris Chinlund

Here's a link to the internet version of the Globe article (w/ no photos):
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2004/05/12/2_cite_photos_purported_to_show_abuse/
The guys name is Sadiki Kambon, and he is a regular caller to some radio talk shows (though it seems like many local talk show hosts no longer let him spew his hate speech on their radio shows). He predicted when the war in Iraq started that we would need at least 100,000 body bags for our troops that would be killed, and has been absolutely wrong in every prediction about the war since then. He calls Condolezza Rice a "murderer" regularly, and I hope that he eventually gets on the banned list at all of the local talk shows. Most talk show hosts cut his calls off when he goes off the deep end but one saturday night talk show host (Lovell Dyett on WBZ) will let Kambon say pretty much whatever he wants and doesn't challenge him one bit. Kambon is truly in the forefront of the "hate America first" crowd.

I would bet dollars to donuts (Though these days thats an even bet), that this is not the same guy. This character is just a loud mouth activist in the Roxbury section of Boston. Sadiki Cambone is not even his real name, having shed his 'Slave Name' years ago.

You are correct about this guy. There has been a push by follow up callers to refer to Sadiki favorably and actually suggest that he have his own program. I have heard this on Severin's show and of course, Braudy's. I say, you have got to be kidding.
