Which Dem wull say the dumbest thing today? I can't even call it dumb. Totally incoherent, yes. Dumb? Nah... Definitely he wins some prize though.

Dayton was citing one Iraqi who claimed to have been pulled from a barber chair, imprisoned, beaten, locked in a dog's cage with scant food and water, hung up on a tree or something and told his wife would be brought to hang beside him.
Something rings a bell about that "pulled from a barber chair" in connection with an Iraqi whose allegations were apparently made up. Don't know if it's the same one . . . or if Dayton's making it up.

What are they so angry about?Themselves, of course. Although they'd never acknowlege or admit it.

I wonder if he's up for election this fall, and is using this as a campaign ploy and free airtime (and looking tough for his constitutents)

Oh, I doubt they'll go with the Breck Girl.... I just think its funny after protesting that he wasn't interested in being #2, that he seems to be primping for the part.
Yesterday the word was the Kerry camp would prefer a governor as a running mate over another senator or a congressman. The governor of Iowa was mentioned as being vetted.

I just had to come back in when I heard this.
So we are having these hearings and going through all this turmoil because of the actions of 6-8 individuals in the military? That is the only number I've heard to date and think this is a major over-reaction on the part of the media and Congress.

I just got my 777, and I may have to give it up. I am the lowest seniority pilot they have. Prayers for you, Pukin Dog. Can you move to another aircraft, or are we talking furloughs?

Col. Hackworth has a wife. For days, I have been tempted to suggest that Hack was probably a beneficiary of "don't ask, don't tell".

Someone needs to call 911 quick. The man must surely be having a stroke. Gawd, did he utter anything coherent?

Personally I'd be surprised if the truth is that Arabic translators haven't been trained in large numbers yet.
We certainly shouldn't advertise how many people have been and are training in Arabic.
