Leaking to me means they were under government control and then given to the press. 60 Minutes didn't get their photos that way. Neither did Hirsh. I don't know how the Post got their photos.

Smith: Taking pictures of prisoners is against the rules, especially with personal cameras.

I violated the Geneva Conventions in 1953 by taking photos of Chinese POW's on Koje-do, in Korea. They were in line, awaiting interrogation, in the Quonset hut adjacent to mine.

She might not sit on the panel out of camera range since she is the last Dem to seniority, but she walked in just at 9:30 and made a beeline to McCain, since he was pontificating for about 8 video camera crews. She is so transparent about wanting to be on camera, she does not even walk naturally when she thinks she is being filmed.

Do you have any idea how difficult a language Arabic is? I took a few months of it, and I already know Hebrew fairly well. In classical, I believe there are six different gutterals, all of which will sound remarkable similar to an American ear.

There are apparently also many varieties of Arabic, with Moroccan perhaps the most complex. Pan-Arab broadcasts are in classical Arabic, but individual countries all have their own variants. A Hebrew professor I studied under once (who was raised in Morocco) said, "Spoken Arabic isn't written, and written Arabic isn't spoken."

I haven't been able to watch much of this, but from some of the comments it looks like maybe the Republicans are on fire today.
