Taunting them with dogs, taking off their clothes etc is pretty tame stuff and I see no grownups willing to take this on politically. Our society is a bunch of wusses. You're nuts. Certifiably nuts.
Can you imagine George W. Bush defending turning a snarling dog loose on a naked man? Just exactly how does he do that?
What's the matter with you?
The fact that our society doesn't tolerate such behavior says there's hope for our society.

(Adopt a dog or a cat from an animal shelter! It will save one life, and may save two.)

I am not asking him to defend it, just make the point that it isn't torture.
This is the same society that firebombed Dresden and Tokyo, and dropped two atomic bombs on cities.

George W. Bush defending turning a snarling dog loose on a naked man? There was a time when the President of the United States did not have to personally, publicly apologize for every wrongdoing that took place within the armed forces. Thanks to digital technology and Al Gore's invention, those times are fading fast.

I find it interesting how gutless many people are when it comes to matters like this to say publicly what most people think to themselves. After 9/11, few people had problems with using real torture if that's what it took to get information out of those responsible. Here we have essentially fraternity pranks conducted on terrorists and armed combatants attempting to kill our soldiers.
What are you referring to? I didn't see a photo of a dog biting a man. It looked like they were just taunting him. Actually a few little dog bites wouldn't be too bad an idea either if it would extract information and save lives. I see nothing wrong with using any means necessary to defend our soldiers. The only mistake made was the photos were taken and leaked to the press.
