And "dating" one of the guys assigned to the prison. Total breaking of rules. They both should be drummed out.
But to call for Rumsfeld's resignation is just more proof the Dems are stupid. Their grandstanding backfires everytime. Especially among "moderates". And of course we had to have the usual RINO's like Susan Collins and John McCain also playing the part of Dems for a day as long as the cameras are on.
McCain has outlived his usefulness and Collins, Snowe, Chaffee, Specter, etc. are no better than Cardassians and should be whacked by the Klingons. ;-)

Texas, "they" never do ANYTHING to these people.

HACKworth knew exactly what it would do.
The HACK has been bitter because he found out he would never wear a star. He blamed that on the incompetent officer corps over him; it never occurred to him that his own abilities, or lack thereof, were probably the most important contributing factor.
Given his predictions on all things military since he became a media whore, his lack of promotion is understandable.

Surely you're kidding.
The cables will LOVE him!

If we here at FR can reveal the what we have, just imagine how easy it will be for those in the know to get to the bottom of this. Watch and see if John Ashcroft isn't the one who puts the Clinton's and their cronies in the orange Jumpsuits they have long deserved. I have a gut feeling about this ever since Aschroft delayed Timothy McViegh's execution for 30 days as he scoured over documents Louis Freeh turned over to him just before he resigned as the FBI Director

Does the strategy entail a nonstop barrage of Bush-bashing books and manufactured scandals throughout 2003-2004?
To: Fledermaus
With no women to distract them, that's moot. Why do you think the ONLY military organization that doesn't allow fraternization of men and women IN ANY FORM is the Marines? Because they are the real fighters and fraternization doesn't work. Not with young people full of hormones that have been indoctrinated by the NEA and MTV to think with their genitals and not their brains.Oh, good grief! These photos were S & M, dominant homo-erotic, and from what I hear "may" come out...pedophile in nature. These people are bizarre sexual deviants. This has nothing to do with normal exploration or raging hormones...they are a bunch of serious freaks.
That said, WHY didn't we all figure out that Hackworth had something to do the the release of these photos to the media? The military was handling the problem...but OBVIOUSLY not well enough for the brilliant "I should be Sec. Defense" Hackworth. He is, and lately has been, a loose cannon, and should be thrown to the wolves like the rest of them for the damage he has caused.
He claims to be on the side of the soldier...well this crap will probably get more than a few of them killed.

The real military will turn on him.

If there was rape then I agree. The rest is bad, but it doesn't even come close to rape.
To: Texasforever; CWOJackson
I have read the article four times and
I am still unclear about the ownership
of the photos and discs etc.
Are they supposed to be property of the military,
since they were apparently confiscated?
Shouldn't they be used as evidence again those involved?

(WHO LEAKED TO CBS?)
To: churchillbuff
"All this anger over the pictures getting out suggests you're fine with the behavior recorded on those pictures - you just don't want news of the behavior to get out." No, it doesn't. It suggests that we want a thorough investigation. Not a circus where congresscritters can beat their breasts and grandstand. It suggests that we want to koow who was involved in leaking these photos. I think I already know. You see, Hillary is more used to being on the staff side of investigations......like when she was a staffer on the Watergate investigation. Today, she slipped up. She confused her roles, and let slip something that she knew that she shouldn't have.
And Rummy caught her!
To: Texasforever; CWOJackson
would turn this into a media circus.I was just sitting here wondering what CWO thought was missing! :-)

You're fantazing. The Clintons and Democrat Party aren't amateurs, they are ruthless, have no moral limits, do whatever it takes to gain power, and have the media and all sorts of subversives and cronies(both in and out of the country) more than willing to help them for a price. Don't underestimate the left.
To: Fledermaus
I am in complete agreement with your entire post!
See? You're not a lone voice crying in the wilderness at all.Actually,I think that most of FR agrees with you.
Jessica Lynch was NOT a heroine!
Lynndie England IS a villaness though.
Neither women belonged anywhere near Iraq and neither do the other women who are there now, belong there either.
To: Barlowmaker
Yes, I do! What part of that do you not understand?
Besides, there weren't any nuclear weapons in the 4th century so you already are a few points down on reality.
Who would miss them? I'd love to see that answer.
Actually, 4th century might not be the correct time frame since they once had viable and impressive societies. But I think that was in the 12th through late 19th century. As usual, we are having to clean up the empirical adventures of England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Japan after all these decades.
So why waste lives of our military? Again, exactly what is the drawback to just removing the Islamic fascist from the planet?
To: Barlowmaker
There was one memo that recommended gathering all negative war issues and releasing them at a scheduled interval. I will try to find that and pot it tomorrow. There was also a mysterious meeting between the Kerry campaign and all the media bigwigs including all three network anchors a few months ago.
