U.S. Senate candidate wants answers
CUMMING, GA Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herman Cain issued the following statement following the Forsyth County Republican U.S. Senate Candidates Forum:
My opponent, Rep. Johnny Isakson needs to stop snubbing Georgians by not showing up for debates. Everyone deserves to see us side-by-side and understand our differences. Georgians also need a Senator who is willing to talk about the issues. This was the third debate that Rep. Isakson has missed, even though my other Congressman opponent manages to fit them into his schedule. Enough of this Wheres Johnny? My question now is, Why, Johnny? Why dont you want to debate me? Why dont you want to stand behind your record and face the people?
While my opponent was doing little in Washington, I was solving problems everyday. I did not do always do what was popular, but I did what was necessary. Rep. Isakson wont deal with the necessary issues until they become popular. This is not a beauty contest; we are not running for class president. Georgians need a Senator who will deal with the real problems we face, not a Senator who gives empty promises.
Rep. Isakson glosses over the issues, not only in his stump speech and campaign literature, but now in his new television commercials. His message is just more politics as usual. He follows whatever way the wind blows, basing his issues on polls. This is why I am running for the U.S Senate. Politicians need to stop tinkering with the symptoms of the problems and work on the actual problems.
I am a professional problem solver, not a professional politician. This country faces a lack of leadership in government. We need someone who will fix problems, not introduce and pass legislation that postpones the effects of the problems we face. Problems like replacing the tax code, restructuring Social Security, getting government out of healthcare, stopping the excessive government spending and protecting innocent life need bold solutions. I have the knowledge, the passion and the experience to do this.
While my opponent Rep. Isakson continues to skirt issues, I am offering bold solutions to our problems. While I stand before the people and debate, he runs away from questions. Rep. Isakson continues to believe that he can just coast into the U.S. Senate. Im running. That is why this is called a race. Everyday we run a little harder, a little faster and we will not slow down.
Cain has been taking his conservative common sense message across the state. Recently opening a South Georgia Field Office in Valdosta and adding the new volunteer organization Students for Cain, the Cain campaign continues to lead in grassroots organization with a large network of volunteer field representatives and regional coordinators, as well as county chairs and coalition leaders. The first to go on radio and television, Cain is neck and neck in fund raising with his primary opponent.
The Forsyth County Debate, which was held at the Forsyth County Courthouse on May 6, began at 8 p.m. The moderator was Al Gainey, a radio personality with WDUN 550 AM.
Awesome idea.
Herman Cain, "I'm running"
Run Herman, Run!
Them that's goin' get on the wagon. Them that ain't, get outta the way.
Go Cain Go!
Those footsteps Isakson hears gaining on him are pulling a wagon and it's loaded down with Cain supporters.
Amen. He has my vote.

Doesn't that just about sum it all up in two sentences?
Stop it...you're killing me. Good idea. Don't forget the big chicken.
Go Herman, go.
