Be careful, sinkspur. You do not want to get caught in the middle of the race for the highly coveted Cynical Prognosticator Of The Year Award.

"What happens when battlefield conditions require destroying a mosque or using a C-130 gunship to take out a position and CNN has pictures of dead women and children? Does GWB apologize again? "

Well a few mosques have already been hit pretty good, and he offered no apology.

What would be your best electable choice for a leader if you decided Bush wasnt good enough?

We are getting a harder shell. It is taking time, perhaps too much time.

By November the people with metal will win out over the PC pansy ass. IMO.

Clintonisque parsing

That was low.

And why quote a news guy at me? I don't care if some clown from the Rapid City Journal said he apologized. YOU said specifically that he used the "a-word". I simply pointed out that he did not. That's not parsing. That's English.

Bush further refuses to confront domestic Leftists.

Confrontation is not the only, nor always the best, means of engagement and victory under certain circumstances.

I would like to register my annoyance that anybody on this forum who agrees with the President on any given day is called a Bushbot by some who disagree.

True. Of course, the flip side of that is that anyone anybody on this forum who disagrees with the President on any given day is called a liberal troll by some who disagree...

I dunno, some of these pics were humorisitic. Many people laugh about it at work, liberals first.

Did you know that those voting no to the destruction of the jail are Democrats?

How about some ex-White House dude with a buddy at the prison, like Clarke or Wilson, playing games with our troops in a cutsey way that they didn't catch on till it was over. Yes, of course they shouldn't have done these things but even grown-ups do stupid things...Clinton comes to mind.

Just saw a clip of the idiot Rangel expounding in front of the House. "I'm calling for Articles of Impeachment." Who does he want to impeach, the President? Over this?

The idiot Dimms will push this envelope too far, too. Count on it.

I could never vote for a loser

So, you would abandon your team in the heat of battle because you disagreed with the coach? What if you were wrong and he was right, and all the team needed was your support to make it happen? And, even if you were right and he was wrong, how would your abandonment of the team help the situation. It just strengthens the odds for the opponent.

IOWs, you started it.

LOL! Thanks for the belly laugh!

I, unlike a few selected others here, are not allowed to use personal attacks, and or call names and make unfounded, unprovoked attacks on others.

This clique mentality is strange. Never belonged to a home owners association, and don't plan to, but I'd bet the rent some folks here would fit right into that type environment.

Yeowza!

I think so too. BTW, just noticed your tagline...wonder why a bunch of familiar faces from the Hill popped into my mind?
We just put a dose of Frontline flea and tick medicine on the dog. Wish it was that easy to get rid of these bloodsuckers. ha.

Yes, this is all worrisome.

According to the executive AR15 summary the pics were all seized and were not available to just anyone.

I would certainly like to know who.

I also suspect,(we will find out tomorrow) that Rumsfeld never lay ed eyes on those pics until it was reported that they would be on the news.

I think that he had no idea how they would be received. He could not have.

I did not either until I had time to absorb the potential impact and was surprised at the huge convulsion that followed.

Much of this is not rational. This should have been treated with less emotion and more intuitive thought.

It seems the media is responsible for the fervor and knee jerk reactions. Like Chandra Levy, and all the other nutty public heart attacks and tremors.

This needs to be studied by someone who knows about diseases.

"I also made it clear to His Majesty that the troops we have in Iraq, who were there for security and peace and freedom,"
are the finest of the fine, fantastic United States citizens,
who represent the very best qualities of America: courage, love of freedom, compassion and decency."

In addition, the President said this :

"But it's also important for people -- and I explained this to His Majesty, and I think he understands this -- that the actions of the people in that prison do not reflect the nature of the men and women who wear our uniform."
" We've got brave souls in Iraq, sacrificing so that somebody can be free."
" And helping that -- the Iraqi citizens be free, it helps America be more secure."
" There are thousands of acts of kindness and decency taking place every day in Iraq, because our soldiers,
our men and women in uniform, are honorable, decent, loving people."

"I am sickened by what I saw, and sickened that somebody gets the wrong impression of people who are serving this country and this world with such dignity."

These are the remarks that Rush should have focused on, it shows exactly why the President was so upset that the Democrats and the media have tried to tarnish all members of the Armed Forces for the actions of a handful.

LOL! Thanks for the belly laugh!

I am afraid that the laugh is on you.

You decided to support that moron and fanned the flames.

It got worse because you made it so.

But, you do that quite frequently, knowing what the result will be.

I suppose you must like it so quit acting like a victim.

You are far from a victim.

These words, as much as you may disagree with them, are not a personal attack.
