Well actually the Baby Boomers are split. But it is half of the Boomers have been the driving force being the most destructive elements of society. The spoiled shouting selfish undisciplined irresponsible segment of the boomers started dividing us in the 60's and now seek to finish the job, no matter the cost, no matter what they destroy, no matter the morals or laws or injustice, it is all about immediate satisfaction of their individual wants, feelings, and quest for power. They pushed for destruction of rational laws/standards, they have nearly succeeded it wiping out the moral standards that previously guided society, and now we have kids in Iraq, berift of a moral compass, torturing and guiltlessly wallowing in degredation of others(after all, who are we to judge?) Yes, I do lay a large part of the blame on the Howard Sterns and the shock culture that segment of Boomers pushed on us, despite their denials desensitization does take place. "Its just about sex", "Don't judge me, morality doesn't matter as long as I perform my job", and "There's nothing wrong with porn, excessive movie/TV/video game violence, vulgarity, and pushing of the limits of decency, it doesn't harm society." Moral relativism was championed by 60's Boomers, as was defiance and rejection of standards as a default, and now it bears its fruits.

Thank goodness the other side of the boomers reject this, and fight hard against the relativists. But if the other side wins, the Baby Boomers will certainly earn the title of worst generation ever.

Chronic pot use can be more deadly than cigarettes. Perversely, this could potentially solve the Baby Boomer SS problem.

"I DON'T ARGUE WITH METH USERS".

I'm not a meth user.

If the shoe doesn't fit why do you respond?

To establish that you're the kind of slimy piece of sh*t that baselessly accuses others of meth use.

What is your proof for this claim?

You're using an illegal drug to get high? You're abusing it.

This source disagrees:

"when regular use of these substances begins to interfere with normal functioning, creating behavioral changes that would be undesirable to people from any cultural background, substance use has turned to substance abuse. As psychiatrists define it, a person has a substance abuse problem when they continue to use a substance--some form of drug, medication or alcohol -- despite the recurring social, occupational, psychological or physical problems such use causes." - http://www.healthyplace.com/communities/addictions/site/substance_abuse_overview.htm

Chronic pot use can be more deadly than cigarettes.

And sometimes, crossing the street can be more deadly than mountain climbing.

I'd rather hear what childhood trauma of yours leads you to baselessly accuse others of meth use.

I don't know what you are talking about. My point, which I made previously, was that robertpaulsen is all over these threads. I doubt he is on any other types to any important degree.

He is a one trick pony.

You might be on meth for all I know. Most of the drug warriors I have asked here are current or past users. They are criminals.

Hey, don't take it personally. Social Security is about playing the percentages.

"As psychiatrists define it, a person has a substance abuse problem ..."

I wonder. Are these the same psychiatrists who in 1973, not based on any new scientific evidence, removed homosexuality from its list of "mental disorders" and who now say that homosexuality is a "normal human sexual response."

Aren't they the ones who are prescribing all this Ritalin for ADD and ADHD?

Those people? I think I'll pass on their definition.

It's an open forum. Hero worship if you choose, I will continue to comment as I see fit.

It might be an open forum, but stealing lines and using them against someone who was not originally intended is STILL manipulative and unethical.

I didn't steal a thing. I quoted you, I put it in italics. That's what we do here at FR. Saying otherwise is disingenuous at best, lying at worst.

I attributed your post to you, I'm sorry if you don't understand how things work. Maybe you need a little grow up medicine.

You have now called me a thief, manipulative and immoral. Name calling seems to be the part of FR you have latched onto.

I called you no names. I commented on YOUR behavior. Italics or not, you used my words out of context against another. That is called manipulation of my intent. Persons I know that are ethical do not do that!!!

Nonsense, when you say someone stole, you are calling them a thief, when you say they they do unethical things you are saying they are unethical (immoral)

I didn't use your words out of context. It was obvious to anyone that your comment was a slur against someone else. I turned it around to show you the irony of what you said.

You need to grow up. Maybe you could spend a little more time in an AOL chatrooms before you graduate to the big leagues. See ya kid.

Another typical behavior. Throwing out taunts. Your behavior is real sorry. You used my words out of context and this could be proven in any court. Sorry, you lose.

No, I am MrLeroy today. Geez, we really have to get the schedule over to you. Besides, I thought JR had already confirmed that King is not MrLeroy.

Making unprovable claims and calling people names doesn't become you, Robert.
