Did anyone see Lou Dobbs rip Tom Donovan, head of the US Chamber of Commerce, a new one on "Lou Dobbs Tonight" on CNN? Lou simply pulverized Donovan over job outsourcing. Donovan had no decent response and was left floundering. I thought the two were going to get into a fistfight on TV. Way to go Lou!!!

Tom Donavan has nothing to do with outsourcing. Don't like it? Talk to the CEO's!

Lou Dobbs is a Democrat-enabling protectionist who's in it for the ratings.

Indeed, by simply revealing that you watch the Clinton News Network, I think that you have lost both your objectivity and the interest of 99.99% of FR.

God bless you, Lou Dobbs! You're the only voice the little people have. Thankyou.

If Tom Donavan has nothing to do with outsourcing, why is he covering up? And, by the way, don't talk to CEO's - talk to Congress. They're the ones who voted for NAFTA, GATT and the WTO - not Donavan, not the CEOs, not Bush and not even Clinton.

I recommend we immediately arrest any CEO who outsources any "American" jobs.
Better yet, arrest anyone who buys products made by those dirty foreigners.
To: Toddsterpatriot
Yeah, and arrest any employer, worldwide, who fails to pay his (or her) employees a living wage.
To: Toddsterpatriot
Most the "American" companies derive the majority of their profit from over-seas. I as the managing director of, say HP or GM, etc., in Singapore or Australia have to wonder why would I outsource to the US at $90/hr when I can outsource to India for $25/hr for the same widget.

Covering up what? You know what the total amout of job that have been outsourced? .2%, not even 1 percent! Maybe you would be happier if we stopped companies from sending jobs overseas and make sure all other countrys follow suit, like Mercades, Toyota, Nissan, Erickkson, Siemens....

Yeah, and arrest any employer, worldwide, who fails to pay his (or her) employees a living wage. So, if you're not making a living wage, you die?
Why take half measures, shoot them all!!

Those companies are in the USA because that's where thier market is! I really couldn't b!tch about U.S. companies outsourcing if they were selling in the same market.
See the difference there Bommer?

Lou Dobbs has been doing an admirable job of keeping the outsourcing issue front and center on his show. It's depressing how many posters we have on this forum who can't seem to comprehend how outsourcing could possibly be anything but wonderful.

"...arrest anyone who buys products made by those dirty foreigners." Just because a person may be foreign doesn't automatically mean he's from France.

LOU DOBBS IS A GREAT AMERICAN.
He was the first and only one on TV to say that on his show he would no longer call it a War on Terror but a War on Islalmist.
Big Avocado sized ones.
Outsourcing, H1b and L1 visas, 12 million Illegals Legalized, Nafta....
- the Repubs and Dems are both supporting a war on the American Middle Class.
Dobbs and Tancredo are Right.
imo

Those companies are in the USA because that's where thier market is! The point is you can't have it both ways. Either your market is there or you can save money with cheap labor. Funny how you don't b!tch about your cheap Hondaus made clothes or Chinese made electronics or toys.
