MSNBC.com pulled a cartoon by syndicated political cartoonist Ted Rall on Monday.
Ralls cartoon, distributed widely by United Press Syndicate to scores of newspapers and Web sites, concerned the late Pat Tillman, the NFL player who quit football to join the Army. Tillman was killed last month in Afghanistan.

Rall is typical of the bed-wetting, nihilistic, infantile mindset of many "alternate" cartoonists. I know, 'cause I used to aspire to be one 'til I finally grew up.
Everytime whiny libs bring up examples of rightist "hate speech," just remind them of Rall atrocities (or the observation, from their other Darling - Franken - on how the ony hope for the GOP was to have all their leadership die in a plane crash).

I think his pic says it all.
That's interesting. What does his picture say to you? It only tells me that he's white, male, middle-aged, and not bald. Doesn't say another thing to me beyond that.

Rall was a Dean guy. I bet a good chunk of the Deaniacs think this way. (They sure do over at DU)

People like Ted Ralls are already dead inside. The virtues of honor, loyalty, dignity and courage are hateful to his ilk. He lives out his days in a self constructed hell.

Actually the more they do things like this, that the average citizen will detest, the more the rats look like what they are, pathetic losers.

For the same reason the Admin Moderator pulled it here. The guy's a kook. He makes some of the less loopier Democrats look sane but I'm afraid their party is falling into the same fever swamp he's wading in. What's unmistakable about Ted Rall's cartoon is his undisguised hatred for America. Most Lefties like to pretend they love this country but this nutball is honest about where he stands. You know portraying Pat Tillman so graphically is kind of like an X-Ray into the souls of these people and I can't relate to them. Despising your country like that is where I don't care to go.

Does anyone have a picture of Rall? Here he is at a swanky DC party. I can't remember if he's the one getting his a55 kissed or if he is the one doing the kissing.

I refused to link to it directly both here and on my site because I think there are certain lines that should'nt be crossed. That's one of them.

ted rall is the most uniformed, idiotic, integrityless, worthless piece of dog excrement to ever raise from the muck at the bottom of the sewers.
acknowledging him is like giving weight to the political opinions of charles manson.
ted rall is the one who has the running joke "attack of the 9/11 widow", which portarys all widows of 9/11 and daniel pearl as money-grubbers out to get rich and famous from the tragedy. he also implied that president bush was happy about the fallujah incident, because he thought it was a barbeque. burned american corpses are always good for a laugh I guess. perhaps his most idiotic statement was that the terorists wanted the winner of the presidential election to be...GEORGE W BUSH. if that doesn't sink your credibility, even with the kool-aid drinkers, nothing will.

Ted Rall was a former student of mine in the 1970's for a short time, when he lived in a suburb of Dayton. I have followed his career somewhat.
He craves attention, and is very interested in controversy for the sake of controversy, in fomenting outrage than the expression of any coherent philosophy beyond extreme knee-jerk liberalism.
He did have some excellent anti-Clinton cartoons in the '90's, where in one he had Clinton explaining why he had sacrificed humans to Ba'al, satirizing the "smoked but didn't inhale" - "Depends what 'is' means" Clinton.
To be sure, more recently he is as far left-wing weirdo doubleplusunfunny as you can get! MSNBC probably made his day by pulling the cartoon.
To: O.C. - Old Cracker
I believe that you missed my point: That picture doesn't tell anything about Ted Rall beyond his physical appearance.
To: Clara Lou
That's interesting. What does his picture say to you? It only tells me that he's white, male, middle-aged, and not bald. Doesn't say another thing to me beyond that. The joyless expression, the lethargic look, the overall drabness, all fit with his work as someone grinding away at the world and someone I'd hate even to share an elevator with.

I would pay big money to see Rall meet up with some of Tillman's former team mates - or his former platoon!!
