CONCORD, Mass. - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) took a spill from his bicycle while riding Sunday afternoon but was not injured, a campaign official said.

Kerry was riding with Secret Service agents through Concord, about 18 miles north of Boston, when his bike hit a patch of sand and he fell, campaign officials said.

"He's fine. They took the bike into the bike shop and he went home," said campaign spokesman Michael Meehan.

Kerry was in Massachusetts — he has a home in Boston — enjoying a break from the campaign trail. It was not immediately clear on what road in Concord he was biking.

Kerry, 60, rides his bicycle as often as he can and sometimes brings it with him on the campaign plane.

"Skiing vacation, cycling.....Hmmm. Shouldn't he be running for President of the United States or something?"

The tax-payers are paying his salary to be a Senator. He's been so absent - he'll have to get a seeing eye dog to find his way back!

Kerry is such a liar he'd claim to be the other Kerrey if he thought he could use some of that guy's votes.

Mr. Nicholson's role has evolved. He is no longer the guy who gets the toothpaste. Instead, Mr. Nicholson, who earned $45,000 last year, is the guy who asks the guy to get the toothpaste. Plenty of people are around, now, to help lug Mr. Kerry's Spanish guitar to his room and tote his Serotta racing bicycle.

I can just hear the press if this was George W. Bush. I am not sure that John Kerry has TIME to be president. He's too busy playing.

Kerry falls an awful lot. If he would release his medical records, we may find a balance problem.

Kerry falls on his campaign bus and injures his shoulder, which later requires surgery.

Kerry fell on the floor in an Idaho mini mart,on the first night of his ski vacation.
The media forgot to mention this, but, the owner of the mini mart and David Wade of the Kerry campaign, later verified that it happened.

Kerry falls on the slopes and announces that he doesn't fall.

Kerry falls off of his bike.

And these are just what we know about.I think Kerry's valet is there to catch him when he falls.

I hope they have one of those emergency alert pagers we see advertised in infomercials, around Kerry's neck at all times.

whats with the little spandex panties?
Do those make him go faster?

What's so gross is that Kerry really thinks he's cool looking in his faggoty looking obnoxious bike attire. Nothing's worse than a french looking elitist gigolo who thinks he's superior to everyone. Gotta go lose my cookies now....

I had to show my husband the picture. He's not against bike riding, but cannot, for the life of him, figure out why they insist on dressing like a gay parade.

Hubby: "Oh Jeeze...what an idiot!"

LOL!
You're husband is terrific!

You don't say. He doesn't know politics is competitive?

I guess he just buys whatever political seat he wants.
