CONCORD, Mass. - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) took a spill from his bicycle while riding Sunday afternoon but was not injured, a campaign official said.

Kerry was riding with Secret Service agents through Concord, about 18 miles north of Boston, when his bike hit a patch of sand and he fell, campaign officials said.
"He's fine. They took the bike into the bike shop and he went home," said campaign spokesman Michael Meehan.
Kerry was in Massachusetts he has a home in Boston enjoying a break from the campaign trail. It was not immediately clear on what road in Concord he was biking.
Kerry, 60, rides his bicycle as often as he can and sometimes brings it with him on the campaign plane.

I do remember all the exercise in Utah.
This from the Boston Globe:
Perhaps nowhere is Senator John F. Kerry's edgy style more evident than in his recreational pursuits, some of which are just this side of extreme.
Kerry is known to push himself physically, often at high rates of speed, testing his athleticism, endurance, and ability to make quick decisions.
Many 59-year-olds limit their exercise to golf, jogging, or tennis. Not Kerry. Long a proficient windsurfer (in 1998, he was featured on the cover of American Windsurfer magazine), Kerry in recent years has kicked it up a notch with kiteboarding, a new water sport that has occasionally resulted in fatal accidents.
He's also a longtime motorcyclist, airplane pilot, powerboater, and long-distance bicyclist.
Among his more traditional recreational activities are golf, skiing, sailing, and ice hockey, a sport he once played regularly but now plays only on occasion.

Did he crash into a secret service agent? No, "the S.O.B." pushed him. He doesn't fall.

He's probably trying to get a Purple Heart for this as we speak.

Sounds like a Freeper animation project :) I don't know how to do animation, but I think a video of Kerry falling set to the Benny Hill theme music would be perfect. How many times has Kerry done stuff like that now, anyway? Let's see, we've got the ski incident; the incident with him bumping his head in the mine shaft; and now this--I bet there's more out there. . .

REAL BIKERS don't have to take their bikes to the shop. They fix them themselves!
It really wasn't my bike it belongs to the "Family".

Howie Carr called around the Boston area to find out what the bike cost. He found the shop in ,I believe, Belmont. The salesman admitted that Kerry was a customer but refused to disclose the price. After much checking Howie found out that it is a Serrota ,or somesuch name, and decked out is about $7,000!

No wonder he fell. There's no strength in his legs(matches his neck) to hold him up. ROFL. And WTF is he doing wearing tights? I don't even wear them when I'm out jogging.
I'm calling him stickboy from now on. I thought this guy claimed to be a hockey player. Riiiight!
