Sounds crazy, but.. I did see a rather LARGE meteor in the sky over Louisville a few weeks ago.. first one this large I've ever seen, and I'm 45 years old....

When I worked nightshift at the Vet's Home in Yountville a few years back, one warm summer night I went for my usual walk around "the Alameda". When I approached the Rec Hall I heard a high whistling noise and smelled burned rock. I looked up and saw about fifty feet above my head what I think was a burning meteor. It probably landed in Domain Chandon's vineyard.
