As incredible as it sounds, two comets are on a collision course near earth, so near in fact, that one is expected to knock the other into (most likely) the western hemisphere

That's when I stopped reading. Even if comet debris were heading our way, there is no way to predict the impact spot so accurately, as far as I know.

So what is your take on this? Yes C/2001Q4 is going to be close but from what I have read all the scientists say it's not going to hit Earth, but it will be close, as in close but not quite.

As far as the author of the posted article he/she sounds like a scare monger to me. After all some of his "red flags" are:

Al Franken saying that Bush was more concerned with "meteors" than with terrorists

Letterman recently spoofing the "spotting of a new star".

Those don't seem like real viable "red flags" to me.

NOT SURE what this may be about . . . but am increasingly thinking/feeling there may be something to it. Worth praying about, anyway.

There were several other prophetic characters asserting that the few months we have started into--it will appear that things are going down hill in a big way but that God will miraculously correct things in His way by His power--evidently before the election.

Could be an interesting summer.

Mary Clark has been a "trusted prophetic voice" over the years that I have been on the internet...since 1996. This isn't anything "new" as we have listened to the voices and paid attention to the times and seasons but it is a reminder of what we know and a reminder to keep our eyes on him, and a reminder that All Things are in His hands.

enemy tries to speak to you.

Accept My words as truth. I am about to do something catastrophic. I am about to get the world's attention in a catastrophic way.

Remember this, beloved: This will bring about GOOD results. This will bring about results that will expand My kingdom. Remember: This will be a GOOD thing. It will not bring disaster to any heart that is focused on Me. It will be a GOOD thing, beloved child.

Remember: It will be a GOOD thing for you, and a good thing for Me-­for My kingdom, and this is a promise-­a solid promise from your God. This will be a GOOD-­a very, very GOOD-­thing. You can bank ok on it! You can believe Me when I tell you that what I am bringing to the face of the earth-­though it is catastrophic-­it is a GOOD thing-­a GOOD thing-­once again I say, it will be a GOOD thing.

I agree with your comments regarding the cited "red flags" being somewhat laughable. . . but then again - the approach is really close (as in close enough to hit the moon).

AND.... with Linear coming in the opposite way with nearly identical distance, .... I imagine that we'll see lots of quacks (prophets, et al) proclaiming both approaches a sign of impending doom.
