They couldn't tell the mens side from the womens side at the Gap and Radio Shack asked for their address one too many times.

except one gray Volvo wagon parked at an odd angle with dry food and blankets strewn around inside.
No worry there.....that's Arianna Huffington's ride.

I'll bet you a dollar the 7500 rifles were destined to be legal parts kits or were bound elsewhere. Or there is some other plausible explanation.
But you won't hear any more about that story because everything they want you to know (and fear) has already been published. They want to leave it hanging that all these 'assault weapons' were bound for America for some nefarious purpose and the only way we will be safe from horrible terror is to renew the assault weapon ban.
In reality, imports of even semi-auto Kalashnikovs were banned in 1989 and that ban will not expire regardless of how the current domestic AW ban ends up. However, imported rifles can be filled with US-made parts to satisfy the import ban and make the rifles legal.

Don't you know this is just Bush diverting attention from his 9-11 testimony?

Yes, the real CTU and the real Jack Bauers will never be known to us and we will never read their stories. We will never even be aware of the potential tragedies they averted.

someone had better call CTU and Jack Bauer Kyle Singer was spotted near the mall.
To: BenLurkin
Everything seemed normal in the area except one gray Volvo wagon parked at an odd angle with dry food and blankets strewn around inside. Sounds suspicious....did it have a Nadar for President bumper sticker on it?

Why would they hit West LA? Those pinkos are in favor of the terrorists.
The malls in Torrance, Ontario, Irvine I could understand since they are Republican areas.

Is that the same mall where Tony Almada of CTU was shot in the neck?
He sure did recover quickly.

24 is my favorite show ever. This season has been a definite improvement with a tight story line as compared to last year where the events were somewhat disjointed.
However, have they completely foregone the real time requirement this year or what?

This sounds like the scenario in Tom Clancy's last book. A bunch of rag terrorists come in thru Mexico and shoot up several malls at the same time.
In the book, the bad guys do a lot of damage but end up getting drilled by civilians and off-duty cops with CCW's. That's not likely to happen in real-life LA.
