Real bad...car bomb.

Meanwhile, apparently there's a deal we've agreed to to put four former Iraqi Army generals in charge of Fallujah. I'm pretty skeptical about that, but apparently the Marines have signed on to this plan.

Oh yes I heard that too. Call me crazy but it seems we're the only ones keeping our ends of the deals.

Enough pussyfooting around. I agree. Seems like more troops are dying the closer we get to the 'date'.

Marines packing up? Seriously? Is this related to the Iraqi generals coming into the picure?

:sigh: These people don't understand 'cease fire'. Packing up is like what Spain is doing to these terrorists.

And, per FoxNews, the ALL troops are packing up to move out of Fallujah. Is that part of the war finished? Or is it another ceasefire that allows the 'insurgents' to regroup and rearm?

More and more the Iraqi situation smacks of too much PC. PC kills Americans. Kill the dmned terrorists and be done with it! Otherwise, we are setting up future Arafats and Saddams and bin Ladens.

Ten U.S. troops killed in Iraq
Report: Tentative handover deal in Fallujah
Thursday, April 29, 2004 Posted: 7:15 AM EDT (1115 GMT)

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Eight U.S. troops died in a car bombing Thursday and two others were killed in separate incidents in Iraq, according to the U.S. military.

The car bombing in Mahmoudiya, south of Baghdad, also wounded four troops, a military spokesman told CNN.

Hours earlier in eastern Baghdad, a rocket-propelled grenade attack killed a U.S. soldier from the 1st Cavalry, according to the coalition.

An attack in Ba'qubah, north of Baghdad, killed another U.S. soldier, U.S. military officials said.
