Everyone needs to realize that what is going on now (AC-130's, helicopter attacks) has been going on for weeks. The difference is, there are now media cameras to record it. While many folks on FR have been whining about our lack of resolve in Fallujah, our military has been very effectively eliminating the bad guys. No, we haven't dropped a MOAB. But we haven't needed to. The AC-130 video you saw yesterday has been happening almost every day. And each time it happens, a lot of bad guys find out that whole virgin thing was a hoax. In all likelihood, there will be no dramatic, building crushing offensive in Fallujah. There won't need to be. The enemy in that city is proving much easier to kill just the way we're doing it.

The train station appears to be on the extreme north side of the city. The last reported positions of the three marine battalions was in the industrial SE part of the city. If we can continue drawing them out and kill them great. Going into that city, house to house, could get very ugly, very quickly. FYI, Global Security has an excellent map / photo of the city.

I would give the FAllujah-ians 24 hours to "get out"..
give the clerics ring side seats..invite Al jeeezarah unlimited access to film...and at hign noon tomorrow drop a MOAB right in the middle of Fallujah.

OK thats over...now for Friday's exhibition....where's that cleric held up at? what town was that? how many of his
fighters are staying around?.....give em another 24 hours..
set up the bleachers for the clerics and Al jeeeezarah...

CNN reports that today's action started after a Marine sniper team near the train station was discovered by terrorists. The terrorists fired RPGs at the team, a Marine rescue team was sent in armored Humvees, and air support was called in.
