EVACUATION AT HEATHROW


Heathrow Airport's Terminal 1 has been partially evacuated, according to reports.

A suspect package has been found by the check-in counter for the Israeli airline El Al.


A spokesman for British airports operator BAA said: "A small section of the check-in, including part of the El Al desk, has been closed off while we check an unattended bag."

FALLUJAH, Iraq — Explosions and gunfire rocked Fallujah on Wednesday after a heavy battle the night before when U.S. forces pounded Sunni insurgents with warplanes and artillery amid demands for guerillas to surrender or die.
