Residents in Stockton facility experience flulike symptoms

STOCKTON -- Most of the residents of a local retirement home fell ill this week after a flulike virus struck.
Three-quarters of the 78 residents at Camlu Retirement Community have gotten sick, and 19 have been taken to the hospital, the Stockton Fire Department reported.
"People get very sick, but they are usually sick for a short time, one to three days," said Dr. Karen Furst, health officer for San Joaquin County Public Health Services. "We get outbreaks every single year."

Isn't getting a little sick, and then getting better, also what the body would do if it was exposed to a serious incubating viral illness which could come back years later and finish the job?? Perhaps we are just seeing the inoculations beginning and don't know it because everyone gets "better"...

Jill please tell me that someone somewhere is doing something to stop them? I know there are a lot of people in the various agencies, but what are they doing really?
Why are the terrorists allowed to run around our country free as a lark planning their final blow, and WE all know they are.
Will we have the guts to fight them before TSHTF or do we have to wait (PC) for them to kill more than 3000 people for us to get tough? Probably too late then anyway. The politicians will argue and have hearings for months trying to figure out who to strike back against. They will probably blame Rumsfeld or Bush for everything. It will probably be because of the prisoner abuse thing.

I wish we could just start over with all of them, new visas, new fingerprints. Anyone not cooperating is out of here. Indie you are so right about what is happening, even the Republican party is falling apart at the seams. I used to love to listen to Pat Buchanan, he is such a history buff. Now that he's on MSNBC I haven't listened to him lately.

Those who unjustly and unrighteously hold positions of power, Lord, those who would take and usurp positions of authority and use that for evil purposes, we ask that you pull them down and replace them with Godly people who will do what is right and lead our nation in the paths of righteousness and peace and Godly honor in every area and level of government.
We ask Your forgiveness, O Lord, in all the ways that we have failed You and we declare that we need Your help, O God. You are the Lord. You are our Shepherd and we are the sheep of Your pasture and You Are a Good Shepherd. We delight in Your ways, O Lord, for they are right and they are good.
Lord we ask for those in positions of authority, who would run this nation according to Your Word and Your Ways and by Your Spirit. Lord cause us to be a witness and a light to the nations again. Let us bless Israel and we pray for them to know You as they should, once again dear Lord. You said those who would bless You and bless Your people and Your land would be blessed and they would prosper, so we ask for Your wisdom and Your insights Lord on this, O Lord.
For Your sake, we declare blessings on Israel, blessings on Washington DC and the United States and its people, and blessings on all those in every nation of the world who would follow Your ways and who will follow hard and close after You. Expand Your Kingdom rule. Your will be done in all the earth.
We declare the righteous blessed, and we say with joy, You

We shall see. I'm not entirely convinced it's going to go the way outlined. But I think IF THERE IS ANY SUCH CHANCE, IT WILL OCCUR ONLY WITH SIGNNIFICANT PRAYER. AND, I'm quite willing to do what I can toward my part.
