"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

I heard the Homeland Security ads on KDWN radio this after noon.
It was the one that tells you to stay tuned, for an Emergency message from the President, and to shelter in place, if you hear those instructions on the radio.
True.
I'll be in church group shortly until 21:00, though.
If you ever get one going, please ping me!
I don't take Sean David Morton seriously, but it can be fun to read his stuff. He was Coast to Coast last night. I did not listen, but here is a recap of some of what he said. It includes Terroist stuff.

Quiet?... yes, but the tidbits like your memo speak loud and clear!
I didn't realize you are a race fan me too.
From Neal Boortz:
This morning in most of the newspapers I scanned during my preparation for the show the top story was still the Iraqi prison abuse scandal. Nick Berg had already disappeared from many front pages, but the prison abuse stories remain. May I suggest to you that there is a reason for this? Maybe it's just this simple: The prison abuse scandal can damage Bush, the Nick Berg story can only help him. Given the choice many editors will chose the stories that serve their cause, getting Bush out of the White House, rather than one that hurts it.
InstaPundit has a good round-up regarding media coverage of the Berg execution

London readies attack evacuation plans 19:36, May 14 2004
By Jeremy Lovell
LONDON (Reuters) - The government says it is preparing mass evacuation plans to clear large parts of London in the event of a terror attack on the city.
Entire local populations will be moved out of the city by road and rail to temporary holding areas elsewhere, and roads will be cleared of normal traffic to allow swift movement if there is a chemical, biological or conventional strike.
My teens are amazing and they have grown up with the common sense to be Republican through their own sense of right/wrong, I am very proud of them, she is even a Freeper ;)
I must clarify something up front, Nick did not deserve what happened but I am becoming more curious on what we've been reading. He coincidentally runs into who, a terrorist who 'borrows' his laptop or cell phone. FBI clears him. Then he has no particular business in Iraq but he won't leave and walks around acting so comfortable as stated by an Iraqi official, like he is in DC. Then his Dad gets email from someone at the State Dept. saying Nick is being detained but safe. But the US says No, he was held by Iraqis.
IMO I feel Nick was working deep undercover and when you are captured you must not reveal this and it will be denied. Something is not right here!
Opinions?
I have searched (google) and have not found a more current one. Would be nice to have a update.
Sounds like you are on to something there.
Emergency message from the President...That's a new one haven't heard it.
Long, essential read
If we don't look after fellow-Americans, who in the world will?
It's a simple question and one that CA State Sen. Tom McClintock is asking.

Subsidizing illegal immigration
THIS year, nearly7,500 qualified California residents -- who would otherwise be entering California state universities as incoming freshmen -- are likely to be turned away for lack of funds. Meanwhile, approximately7,500 illegal immigrants will receive heavily subsidized university educations at a cost of between $45 million and $65 million annually at those same universities.
Is it just me, or is there something wrong with this picture?
