[history]
"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

or are chosen to become aware.
So with your understanding (and it seems right on)at what point do you think the rapture will take place.

Rapture? I do not believe in a pre-trib "rapture." I do believe some can be
chosen to believe who might not otherwise on their own....
You made a long stretch on that one from my post....LOL.

I mean, an event is described in THES, but the timing of the event is not [IMO] before it all hits the fan.

Indie,
I believe that the brutal way that Nick Berg died, is a symbol to every American of the hell our troops and civilians (that have the misfortune of being there also) deal with day to day in the Middle East. My site being dedicated to Nick is done not only to memorialize him, but it is also to keep what happened to him at the hands of the vile, murdering, scum, that we have become accustomed to calling terrorists, VERY, VERY fresh in our minds. My hope is that maybe people that are not up to speed on how serious the threats that are being made against us are, will do a search on Nick's name, visit my site, and see what really is happening.
I agree, the photo was neutral, and the post that was with it made no tie to Nick Berg at that time. It is still on my website in the Islam Thinker section, just not on the front page.
My apology to the parents was done out of being a parent myself, visualizing how I would feel to have been told one day that my son had died at the hands of terrorists in a foreign country, and while I was feeling like my gut had been ripped from me, the very next day having a reporter come to my house to tell me that my son's decapitation, (while he was fully alert, and awake) was being blasted all over the world via the Internet. Parent to parent respect compelled me to apologize for not moving that picture sooner!
While he does not deserve anymore remembrance than any other hero who has died, the brutality of his death does. It symbolizes the mentality and savageness of the people our troops are dealing with everyday. It shows that ALL US citizens are just as vulnerable as our military. No one is immuned to their vulgar regard for human life.

Sounds like we are on exactly the same page, but just choose different methods of honor. And that I think is a good thing...the more the better. It is the honor that counts, whatever the method.

You ask what made him survive?
Bill was a person that God sent to do his work, even tho he was never a church goer, he did serve the Lord.
He survived many accidents and lived to be 77, the last 15 years with his mind and personality lost to his mind, the one they call the "Old Timers disease", (my mind will not retain the name).
He had joined the Army at 14 or 15, to replace a useless brother who had gone AWOL from the army.
He survived, cause the Lord wanted him to do so.
hugs,
ma
