Bond girls aren't easy

Britney, you are no Pussy Galore. Former Bond Girl Maryam d'Abo (Kara Milovy in 1987's The Living Daylights) with Timothy Dalton.
A recent Extra television report revealed that Britney Spears has had the gall to approach Barbara Broccoli, a producer of Bond films, with a view to becoming the next Bond Girl. .....
...A Bond Girl has sex appeal. Her allure stems from her classic beauty -- tall, lithesome, elegant. Ursula Andress (Honey Ryder) rose from the sea like a knife-wielding Aphrodite in 1962's Dr. No, the first of the Bond films. Another Dr. No Bond Girl, Sylvia Trench (played by Eunice Gayson), is described in the screenplay as "willowy, exquisitely gowned, with a classic, deceptively cold beauty." Britney, on the other hand, is already looking over-the-hill at 22. In fact, she'd look right at home in a trailer with three to five kids.....

Yeah and you know what? Sean Connery and Roger Moore are my Bond men. I have not seen any of the new Bond films. I've not seen Thunderball. Next time Spike TV runs the Bond marathon I'll have to watch.

Grace Jones is gorgeous. BTW, she was a well known at Studio 54 so who knows with respect to 'nose candy'?

Also, many of the "background" women are cute. The new Ms. Moneypenny is most savory and the redheaded woman who played the psychiatrist in the beginning of Goldeneye could have me on the couch anytime...

To each his own. Personally, I favour Hallie Berry. Naomi Campbell would make a good Bond Girl.

I can think of a handful who've made other notable film and/or TV appearances...Denise Richards, Kim Basinger, Teri Hatcher, Famke Janssen... I'm willing to suspend a great deal of disbelief when watching a Bond movie, but I still couldn't buy Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist. Famke: oh yes. I will be very disappointed if there's not an X-Men 3 or she's not in it.

I used to want to be a Bond girl when I grew up. Then I realized I wasn't exotic enough.

Naomi Campbell would make a really good Bond Girl but I haven't even seen the new ones. I heard Halle Berry was good but oh well... just don't like the new men portraying James Bond.

Beyonce would make the best Bond Girl...unfortunately, she already appeared in Austin Powers 3, so there'd be too much irony going on.
I'd also love to see Monica Belluci. Yowwwwwrrrr.

Please inform your fans of this as we haven't realized it as of yet.

I don't care much for Sean's current persona and the puzzling lisp he's developed. The Bond I picture is from 1962-64.

You know Brittany is going to turn in the Janet Jackson of the 20's remember they both started out as cute kids on TV and it looks like they are both going down hill from there. My gosh, is there nothing you people will invent to bolster your viewpoint. Janet Jackson is close to 40 years old. She had a remarkable and very long career where she was at the top of her game. The fact that she sells out her tours and still creates buzz is a testimony to that. She made one huge mistake. She's apologized. That doesn't negate her entire career. Yeesh.

I was born and grew up in Houston, I speak English and Spanish, I play the piano, and I love to needlepoint. I will never win any prizes for exoticness.

"I'm the cock of the walk!" I have a second degree of separation story about Sean Connery.
Back in 1975 they made "The Wind and the Lion" near the Navy base at Rota, Spain. A couple of guys from the Marine Detachment were in it, and one of them, "Jack" Jackson by name, was given a ride back to the base by Sean Connery, who then went on to Seville to catch his plane.
Per Jack, Connery is a real easy-going and generally nice guy.
