Tubavil wasn't so bad. I'm sorry I called him t... well, what I called him. He didn't deserve it. I regretted it as soon as I saw it posted. Sorry, tube-guy.
He wasn't being abusive, just repetitive. Maybe he's really young (that would explain the boasting about IQ).
FreeRepublic has always tolerated a certain annoyance level. I can think of several who were given much, much more rope.
I'm just a nobody here but tubavil didn't rate a 'zot' in my opinion.

That was the actual live thread started before the PC even started.

That's the live thread; this is for post-press conference comments from reporters (supposedly).

But as someone else posted, they do not want an apology, they want a confession.

"He's probably a good man, father, and husband. I just don't think he's qualified to be the most powerful man in the world."
I think he's perfect. A man of solid character, vision, and unwavering faith in American ideals and the goodness of America.
I think he communicated that very well, if not with the all the flash of a Clinton.
If you didn't see it, I think no matter what you say, his vision is not resonating with you. And I don't think it's the messenger, I think it's because you simply are in disagreement with the vision, whether you state so or not.
The first time I heard him speak, he set my soul on fire. Because I saw his vision.

Oh it was!
They really planned on killing several thousands of USA Grade A, Choice, NATO Beef.
They failed.
The main point is, they usually, always failed.
Unless they had deep pockets, and/or enemy State sponcorship.
It was not "Islam" that dreamed up terrorism as a state weapon, it was/is petty power hungry dictators.
We can choose the easy way, and kill them all.
Or we can act like civilsed people, and kill only those who eschew civilization.

It sucked!
Big time.
I can relate to our military forces in Iraq.
No, I am not under fire now, but if you have ever got the call to volunteer to go pick up the scorched equipment and dead flesy
parts of a comrade in arms, you know what I am talking about.
War is hell.
Those who actually operate in any war evironment hate war more than any anti-war peacenick, socialist, ignoramous could ever imagine.

Please call the President and let he know we back him 100%. Call the White House and leave a message. We must let him know the American people are behind him! What a better way since he does not pay attention to polls. The numbers are as follows:
Comments: 202-456-1111 Switchboard: 202-456-1414 FAX: 202-456-2461 E-Mail President George W. Bush: president@whitehouse.gov Vice President Richard Cheney: vice.president@whitehouse.gov
