No, Savage just spews out whatever pops into his head at any give moment. He says a lot of things wackos think but seldom say.

Clinton was considered sharp as a tack as you say and I considered him one of the worst Presidents this country ever had...

"I've heard high-school debate teams arguing for a geocentric universe express more enthusiasm."

This wasn't a debate. Enthusiasm wasn't part of the program. It was a serious speech, which called for a serious demeanor. You don't lose that many troops in a few weeks and not have it effect you. Under those circumstances, I wouldn't and didn't expect him to be upbeat or jovial. He was exactly the way I thought he should be.

Like it or not, he is the most powerful man in the world. He hasn't abused that privilege like some others have. Everything he's done has been for the people of this nation, not for his own political gain. He has a vision and the conviction to make tough decisions and see those decisions and commitments through. Frankly, I can't think of anyone else at the moment that I'd rather have in his place.

85 or 90? that must make you in the low teens maybe even 9 or 10? can you say Harvard and Yale? yeah, money may get and may even keep you in one but both, not likely... can you say flying fighter jets...yeah you can say he missed time in the guard but that was after flight training and several years of flying cap over USA... stupid pilots don't live to talk about it!

>>>>>>>>>.I've heard high-school debate teams arguing for a geocentric universe express more enthusiasm. He's probably a good man, father, and husband. I just don't think he's qualified to be the most powerful man in the world.<<<<<<<<<<

The difficulty with that argument is that you have John Kerry as your other alternative. Simply chastizing the FR favorite because he did not inspire you, claiming he is a dullard, stupid, but still a nice man is an interesting observation that has had followers among those in the media for years. Your final inference is that there are others who can do better, presumes there is another. Yet, the elephant in the room is John Kerry, substantially more dull and deviod of ideas than any candidate who has come along in quite some time.

Bush, like his father, butchers syntax, but is not a Clintonian poll follower. Instead, he actually believes in doing what is right and what we all fundamentally understand is right. You find fault in his delivery and his intellect, yet your own intellect should appreciate the wisdom of Bush's actions in Afghanistan and Iraq. While the sausage is being made, it is nasty business, but the final product is rather tasty. Give this thing in Iraq some time, you might be inclined to change your mind about Mr. Bush.

Nice rebuttal. Attack the man, ignore the points

Impossible since you never make any points to ignore.

I DID complain when janet reno did her thing.
I also complained when we did not do the same thing...
she had stocked the political streams with criminal spawn... assigned to protect democrats and endanger America.

they SHOULD have all been fired.
same with louige freeh and george tenet.

I think prayer is the only thing left.

you might want to keep it to yourself when you conclude that God is not bright enough to be running the universe and that if you had had God's opportunities, you'd be doing a much better job.

He kept repeating the same thing, four times, as answers to different questions. That's why he has to answer questions like tonight's "Why do you have to appear with Cheney?" (at the upcoming hearing).

Give me the list of questions he answered the same thing to.

>>>>>>>>.Klinton is very smart, but Evil. Why can't we have a decent man who is also above average in intelligence to lead our country and the world?<<<<<<<

I disagree with your premise that Bush is dumb. He may not be Clinton, Carter or Nixon smart, but then each of those men had immense flaws too. Your alternative is?

Just saw a picture of Kerry at his big fundraiser in BackBay Boston tonight...CBS Boston affiliate...Kerry looked ill, his cheekbones puffy, eyelids sagging. Looks as if his botox is meandering around his face on its own. He looks old and tired, sounds it, too.

If for no other reason President Bush gets kudos for being honest & sincere. Making sparkly speeches doesn't always work.

Your Thanksgiving Day scoop was excellent! Funny how some thought you were joking. ;)

Thank you for your service to our country & take care.
