He didn't answer the outrageous and stupid questions - good.
He didn't attack the outrageous and stupid questions for their outrageousness and stupidity - bad.
He spoke with firm resolve and conviction - good.
His ideas and language did not flow coherently. He looked/sounded like he was wielding a claymore rather than a rapier - bad.
I wish he could have had Rumsfeld do the press conference!

I saw Susan Estrich tonight. She's a law professor, and she can't seem to connect the dots between Iraq and terrorism.
My 16 year old son can do that easily. Heck, if my dog understood English, she probably could.

Bush should have told the truth on that mistakes question.
He also should have announced the truth that is Islam does not mean peace, it means subjugation.
He should have said his biggest mistake was keeping all the Clinton holdovers.
That is what I think he should have said... if he was going to tell the truth.
"My biggest mistake prior to 9/11, was listening to, and keeping of the staff put in place by William Jefferson Clinton.

The performance was strong, but perhaps so only when viewed as a white man of conservative leanings. We won't know for a few days how it played to the middle, and indeed, how many watched.
Sure, that is why the various FEMALE comintators were impressed by Bush's performence. That is why the most powerful two African Americans in US History work for a REPUBLICAN President. Because all "conservatives" are white males. Go back to Democrat Underground you prejudice troll.

Thanks to you and all the other men and women who are serving in the U.S. Military. My husband served in Vietnam and I can truly appreciate all of your valiant efforts and sacrifices overseas and that of your families as well. Take care.

That Kerry could inspire anyone to do anything.......other than help inspire angry, out of power Democrats, has never been demonstrated.
Oops. He demonstrated an ability to rally anti-war, anti-American people during Vietnam didn't he......
By saying our soldiers raped, pillaged, and tortured people.
He'll make a great President........
According to Osama.

>>>>>Ah, the standard FR response, attack the man and ignore the points.
Very impressive.
Um let's see... you suggested that Bush was stupid...an IQ of 85.....How do your comments square with your complaints of folks here at FR, when you do the same to someone who isn't even here to respond to your comments.
BTW, I had a brotgher (deceased) and have a sister in that IQ range, neither of them had to tell me how smart they were or where their IQs were/are. So why is it you feel the need to tell us yours? I think Dick Nixon had a tremendous intellect, but failed to remember his ethics along the way. Clinton (arguably) has a substantial intellect, but his Johnson kept him from greatness. IQ isn't the only determinant of success.
To: tubavil
how silly you are...have you seen his SATs? Bush is very bright....you are one of the misguided who think high-end verbal equals intelligence.....many brilliant people are not talkers....abstract thinkers....visual thinkers....high end logic and reason people....

Savage is SOOO disappointed that he just said he needs a drink. LOL!
Savage is an embarassment to conservatives everwhere. I am sorry but his hysteric, self-absorbed hate everyone but himself stream of conciousness broadcasting is too painful to bear listening too.
