Actually, I could do all those things if my dad were as wealthy, powerful and influential as his. Easily.

Bush wouldn't last two seconds in my industry as he fails to communicate, as well as project a persona of authority (among others).

The commies and America haters are going to eat him up in November (barring Divine intervention).

Kerry is a much better speaker

I couldn't disagree more. Kerry's speaking mannerisms and appearance are about as unlikeable as it gets. What makes him a better speaker or are you just a fan of his?

Worst press conference you've seen?????? Hmmmmmmmm

Ah, the standard FR response, attack the poster and ignore the points

Impossible since you have yet to make any points. I am curious what your point may be? ANY? Or are you just a typical Democrat Underground Troll spewing out random hate at Bush? Try this, and see if you can get your boy Kerry to try this, leave out any personal attacks on Bush and actually lay out some factual points.

What show were you watching?? Not the Presidential Press Conference I saw. If you don't see what a great and truthfull man this is, then you just don't get it. Would you prefer a lier, such as bill klintoon??? If these are your thoughts, you don't belong in America. Try Iran. You definitely don't belong on FreeRepublic, the dfu would understand your silly thoughts. Troll

Way to go, Ethyl...

God, how do these Clintonites show their faces after they FAILED so horribly?!

That's why they are out .. they know they F'd up .. and they know the public knows the F'd up

Last poll I saw .. 65% think Clinton F'd up

Plus there is this

http://www.latimes.com/news/columnists/la-na-outlook12apr12,1,4224472.column

(snip)

That widespread belief has two major implications for the 2004 campaign. First, it means that based on the information available so far, most Americans recoil from efforts to blame Bush for the attacks. One leading Democratic interest group recently asked a focus group in Florida to respond to a potential television ad accusing Bush of negligence in failing to stop the attacks. The result was volcanic — against the ad.

"They were so angry I thought they were going to turn the tables over," said a Democratic operative who watched the session. "It was a very polarizing ad, and it pushed people who were on the fence decidedly away from us."

Why don't you distinguish yourself as the lone FReeper who doesn't engage in personal attacks and argue the points?

Never mind.

I would guess an IQ of 85-95.

I suppose you'd prefer that genius, clintbilly - the IMPEACHED ex-42.

BTW, I hardly think a dullard with an IQ of 85-95 would earn an MBA from Harvard. Nor could you.

You make a common mistake by being too smart to comprehend just how stupid people can be.

To: jern Callers on c-span are blaming President for Cole and embassy bombings. Demanding to know why he wsn't angry after the bombings. Unbelievable.

How in the heck can this President be blamed for the Cole?

You are the person attacking the President over his IQ, not me. It takes more than an IQ to be smart. Sometimes it takes COMMON SENSE.

Bush ... is a real guy who not only looked comfortable in jeans but looked like he had worn them before.

Right, exactly. Can you imagine Kerry, or Gore, or Clinton, or even Carter, in that picture? Liberals love to enjoy the benefits of wealth and privilege while telling us how much they care about the common man.

Meanwhile, Dubya's idea of a vacation is to get into his favorite Levis and an old pair of workboots to clean up some acreage on his ranch.

The performance was strong, but perhaps so only when viewed as a white man of conservative leanings. We won't know for a few days how it played to the middle, and indeed, how many watched.

I was watching the press conference with my daughter in law and her mother. Her mother is from Louisiana and has always voted for Democrats but she is voting for President Bush in Nov. She was furious at the way the press was questioning the President. And she thinks Kerry is ugly as sin.

Bush grew up in Midland, TX. People in Midland, TX, don't make a habit of running off at the mouth. They let their actions speak for them.

If you were bright you would have figured that out by now.

Wesley Clark on H&C

Our gound tactics are not the correct tactics. We should be defensive and let Iraqis handle eveything else. Not very realistic in my humble opinion.

He lacks a sparkling wit, but he has judgement. His decision on the gov't stem cell lines just before WTC911 was totally researched and all possibilities looked at, and he decided correctly, both ethically and legally. Most impressive. He even pronounced the hard words correctly. That performance gives me the confidence to trust his decisions after WTC911. He did fine tonight; we have to admire the strength of his stand.
