It's a nightmare that he's in this situation as an underdog.
Perhaps though, it's a good thing in the end. I hope we are all right.
To: Monty22
I couldn't disagree more. President Bush did a great job. He answered every stupid question!
To: Peach
Matthews is praising him. I'm going to faint... What!? Somebody must have slipped Chris some strong meds. He isn't himself.

The lasting thought of all that he spoke, that I heard, was that we will stay the course, our military will have everything they need, the Iraqi people can trust our resolve and our allies are appreciated for their resolve in putting their military in harms way. And that he believes he will not lose once the American people realize the choice that they will have come election day.

Can we , after while, talk about the tie?
He should have exercised one of those times when it's okay to take certain things off.......

CiCi on FNC said she doesn't know why he doesn't have more pressers because he comes across strong. Not phony or canned. Very strong in the good vs. evil discussions and strengths of him as a leader.

The results. Bush is asked why he failed. Bush did not give a justifiable position. This will sink him.
He didn't fail.
Did people ask Roosevelt about "failing" when he was fighting back after Pearl Harbor? This is stupid talk.

OMG........Chris Matthews says he senses HUMILITY in the president tonight. They are praising him.....he and Fineman!
Beware Presstitutes bearing damning praise. They think they see weakness; funny thing is, I didn't.

Wait until the debates, Kerry was the absolute worst during the demoRAT debates, if Dean didn't implode Kerry would have been gone after his New hanshire loss.

Ceci saying it's funny GWB doesn't hold more press conferences. He comes off as honest -- not phoney or giving canned answers. It shows his strength as a leader. Pinch me!!!
To: Carolinamom
Cici says he should do more of these, we can see his strength, no razzle dazzle, but he is good,,,I am in shock!!!

"CC Connely saying the President said "Tough" a half dozen times"
A just-released ABC/Newsweek poll reveals
37% of Americans believe he said tough 5 times
13% of Americans believe he never said tough
47% are unsure or have no opinion
To: LandOfLincolnGOP
they had those kinds of photos of Reagan on the papers all the time, and it only made people pissed at the papers.
I agree with the majority opinion on this forum...I think he won the election tonite, and showed why he is a leader, and why he will be re-elected.

The public will eat this up and despise the press.
Trust me.
Even CeCe says he did well and refers to "the strength of this man as a leader"
(I'm fainting...back in a sec)
To: Pukin Dog
CC Connelly said he did good and stayed long to answer every bloody question and sounded like a leader
