As long as she quiets down about her politics in class, I say "whatever."

Although, she shouldn't have to teach them about integrity and self-control. That's the parents' domain, and they are neglecting their duties in that department.

Sounds like she should find a line of work that doesnt interfere with her beliefes.

Personally i think teachers who attempt to impose their ideology on children should face charges.

Saddam Hussein has been held accountable for his personal choices.

Damn teacher should be fired if she's imposing this on her children. IMMEDIATELY!! I hope the parents get a whiff of this from their kids.

My older sister is an elementary teacher in Phoenix, and I'm sure she would agree. As soon as she joined the NEA she swerved hard left.

Well, that's what she sees through her very narrow sectarian perspective. I happen to disagree with her.

Going a bit further, I wish she'd move back to Europe where she belongs and get out of our lives.

Plenty of teachers are the same.

Yesterday, I was in an urban High School when a teacher asked me how Condoleeza Rice's testimony went. When I said she did well, he said, "I wish she'd just admit that Bush lied, she knew and he knew."

I guess she would rather have Clinton. A totally unaccountable person. My God what in the hell are people thinking? I can't think of another President in recent memory that takes more responsibility and tries to live up to the ideals of the job more than Bush. I won't this teacher to tell me who she thinks would do a better job given the circumstances right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do public school teachers know about accountability?

Very little, but second graders should bring their clothes to school, and some juice for after story time.

But Bush is handling the accountability for Iraq very well thank you, let's make this election a vote over how many find him sufficiently accountable and how many find Kerry more accountable? OK, every body put your heads down and raise your hand if you like Bush....

Hmm, if I had been in your place, I would have been annoyed and speechless at this point, not thinking of any witty comebacks until long after class was over. I hope you had more presence of mind than I do in these situations and were able to point out that in order to claim that Bush lied, one really needs a concrete example of a lie.
