the White House's failure to accept responsibility for the 2001 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 peopleYou dumb bunnies. AL QAEDA is the organization that accepted responsibility.

Why on EARTH should these people expect THIS President to accept responsibility and apologize for the previous administration's incompetence??!?!?!?? Why aren't they down in Harlem protesting in front of Billy Boy's office?????

Heaven forbid they actually demand an apology from the organization that committed the atrocity, instead of playing politics with the lives of their loved ones.
To: areafiftyone
Amazing that out of all the loved ones of 3,000 victims of 9-11, Reuter's can only find partisan Democrats to interview.

"No one wants to take any responsibility. Three thousand people died, and all they want to talk about is structural problems," Bob McIlvaine of Oreland, Pennsylvania, whose son died in New York's World Trade Center. Welcome to government.

What do you want to be these people were fresh from their "Leftist Pinko Liberal Debriefing Session" before they talked to the reporters. I feel sorry for their loss, but come on, these people were Dims long before 9-11 and are just being pimped by the DNC.

I'm glad she didn't feel she needed to stoop to Clarke's level on this. She handled it all very well.
To: Numbers Guy
I would think that the millions of taxpayer dollars they got was quite an apology from the government.
To: areafiftyone
Too bad they don't identify their political affiliation. Something tells me this isn't fair and balanced.

These people are getting to be sooo annoying I wish they would just go away!I have to agree, professional victimhood is not appealing.
The Nineteen hijackers and their supporters are responsible, that's it.
To: areafiftyone
If these people, after all that has gone on, are actually upset about this, then they are sick and need professional help. I hope they get it. They sound mentally disturbed.
To: areafiftyone
the White House's failure to accept responsibility Who committed the atrocities? The White House? Guess again. If anybody is responsible it is those who hijacked the planes.

"Instead, it's been outwardly directed, not just at the terrorists but at previous administrations."
Well, that's a little disturbing. I don't remember Clinton's administration being pointedly blamed for 9-11, indeed, it seems the Bush admin has been remarkably gentle on this point. So these people get it on their own, but I guess they don't like it. The disturbing part is how they can like Slick and Gore so much that they can't bear to embrace the truth.
It is important to understand that Clinton left us fairly wide open to a 9-11.

I though al-Queda already claimed responsibility and we bombed them further back in the stone-age in response? What pathetic leaches the people are.

My thoughts exactly. The applause today was in incredibly bad taste.

So are these people going to demand the Democrats apologize to the families of the Pearl Harbor attack victims because of FDR's negligence?

I'm sick of Bob McIlvaine and his ilk. He has done nothing but complain and politicize the issue. I have lost all sympathy for those people.

Aren't these "family members" the same ones that have already been identified as being members of a leftist anti-war anti-Bush political group that gets funding from the Heintz Foundation? A couple of the names look awfully familiar.
