Then he turned around and criticized the Administration for not taking military action in response to the USS Cole. How in the hell can he on the one hand, complain about military action against the Muslims in Iraq, and then in the next breath, demand military action against the Muslims for the USS Cole incident?
Because he's a bitter partisan monkey?

Exactly, instead of living the kind of life their deceased spouses wanted them to have and enjoy, they've chosen to immulate the murderers by becoming martyrs.

Let's keep the names out there of these crappy women who dishonor the memory of their own husbands, and of the brave heroes like my cousin--Mike Lynch, FDNY, Ladder Four-- who lost their lives trying to save them. I'm sorry for the loss of your cousin .. I am also sorry for the loss of these widows husbands
If they were interested in getting the truth, I would not be so upset .. but all they seem to be interested in is blaming President Bush and Condi Rice .. they even said so
And by doing this, I fear they will give the many many other families of 9/11 a bad name

Thanks! Most of it is borrowed from other freepers and I need to learn how to save pictures to my hard drive or something in case their computers crash.
The Democrats would just LOVE us to forget about 9/11. They are so weak on national security, they'll be lucky to ever get elected to high office again.

Did you find Kerrey's opening remarks to Dr. Rice as condescending and disrepectful as I did?

From your profile:
We don't want yellow cowards in this Army. They should be killed off like rats. If not, they will go home after this war and breed more cowards. The brave men will breed more brave men. Kill off the Goddamned cowards and we will have a nation of brave men.
Are you sure you aren't A DU plant, here to embarrass and discredit this site?
A lot of us have invested a great deal of time and energy in researching Kerry's association with an assassination plot. Now we have a supposed FReeper calling for killing our own soldiers. What gives?

It is the widows of our troops and their children -- they who are protecting us -- who should get the money, not these wealthy New York widows who sacrificed nothing for this cuontry. Two great points coming out of this:
1. Why don't the wealthy New York widows donate their 9/11 lottery winnings to the widows of the troops?
2. Why didn't Congress take the declaration of war in 1996 by al-Qaeda seriously?

Actually, I wanted to call them the "9-11 Bitches" because of their endless bitching and whining that the Bush people are stonewalling. But in deference to losing their husbands in the 9-11 attacks, I used the term "Witches" instead.
The fact is, these women are angry about losing their husbands in the 9-11 attacks. I think many Americans were touched by the events of that day. I know I was. However, at some time, we all must move on. Laying blame for what happened on 9-11 should not be made at the feet of the Bush administaration. If we must point fingers, those fingers should be pointed at "Al Qaeda" and Osama Bin Laden.

CNN is bringing up this 911 Commission conspiracy topic again.
Claiming Condi's replies were so long the commission members didn't get time to ask enough questions.
Now they are playing the race card, If you look at the commission they were mostly white males....
Where did these talking points come from?

That's why George left Laura in the Whitehouse that day. Guess he was hoping they would take her out.Point well taken. At the actual time of the attacks, the First Lady was on Capitol Hill because she was going to speak at a hearing on education. In fact, I believe she was in Ted Kennedy's office speaking to him about the education issue at the time the plane that eventually hit the Pentagon was inbound and no one was sure if it was headed toward the Capitol building.
Also, the President didn't know precisely where his daughters were at the time of the attacks. And his parents were travelling by commercial plane (they were grounded in Chicago, I think it was, when all planes were ordered down).

Half of them who are asking questions of the Bush administration were IN THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION. They already know the answers, they just want to shift the blame. This is horrid and pathetic. Have they no morals?
They were IN THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION, and you have to ask? ;)

Just found your post. The blamegame is frustrating.I only hope that somewhere the commission finds improvements needed to help prevent another 911.
Structural reform is needed to improve intelligence gathering for terrorists. It's like rethinking nuclear threats once we were not alone with having nuclear weapons. It is a new day and we need new ways of thinking, new intelligence procedures, new safeguards. No way are we going to have a guarantee..just improvement.

That's bs. Half of them didn't even ask questions, they made statements and she responded to them all. That Bin Veniste was particularly smarmy.

One more for ya: Who held up the confirmation hearings of Bush's appointees who were to design the U.S. antiterrorism strategy - Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Douglas J. Feith, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Programs J.D. Crouch and Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Peter W. Rodman - refusing for apparently partisan purposes to allow them to take office until late July 2001?And who is married to a former FAA official, now bigtime lobbyist, that helped buy off Al Gore using campaign donations from major airlines, in exchange for dropping increased security measures for air travel? (did I get that all in one sentence? - sorry, Mom)
Hint: His initials are T.D., and he's a RAT.
