I checked DU. About 80% think their people are doing well, but they are angry Condi's answers take a long time and eat the clock, and a few have said she has "made no major gaffes" and that she is parroting Bush terror teaching seminars.

You are exactly right. The press will characterize the interrogation as tough, direct questions about the FAILURES leading up to 911 - directly implying that the Bush team dropped the ball. This is an absolute certainty.
