Lehman: Mr. Clark indicated that the August memo would not have prevented 9/11, is that correct?
Rice: That is correct.
Ben-Veniste's line of questioning was for naught IMHO.

These people should be round up for treason during a time of war.
You know right now the Arabs are watching this, laughing with glee over this. They love seeing us at odds.

Doctor Clarke... I think a little of a Freudian slip here, in his mind, he knows that his boy Clarke is taking a beating today and he is panicking.

She's amazing IMO. I think she's hit this so far out of the park. She's handled herself brilliantly. You agree??

FYI
Mr. Lehman = Former Sec. Navy under Ronaldus Maximus.
Didn't even have to look at the TV to tell that it wasn't a RAT questioning her now.
Could tell by the tone that it had switched from RAT grandstanding to questions desling with the cold hard facts of what happened and didn't happen!

I missed that one! This is so outrageous, all these people want to do is rip the Bush administration over the Iraqi war. This woman deserves a raise for having to put up with these morons!
And those so-called 9-11 families should be ashamed of themselves. I wonder how many of them have accepted the government fund money from 9-11? I guess my understanding of the term "principle" is different from theirs.

With all due respect, I'm for Jeb/Condi `08...
But she is superb. I'd vote for her if she ran and won the nomination.

Yup; whatever makes anyone think that Condi Rice, intelligent and talented though she is, is a Conservative?
Clarence Thomas is a Conservative.
To: TomGuy
Lehman is a brownshoe, correct?

She's a PhD.Some of the most ignorant people I know are PhDs, that means nothing.
But people applauding in a hearing? I just tuned in, and was rather surprised at all the applause from both sides. I find this very odd.

This is a very storn point. Mrs. Daschle was a lobbyist for the airlines and it was deemed too expensive. However, she quickly changed her mind when the government was going to foot half the bills for the airlines. Eventually, Congress would foot the bill for everyday security personnel.

Condi saying Clarke's memo mentioned sleeper cells, but no suggestions about action. Only FBI was watching them.
Condi was saying she was not told about flight training centers.
