"In looking at the illustration, I interpreted it as a representation of two thugs, and not as meaning that Sadr is the "heir" of Iraq after the fall of Saddam. "
Exactly... thanks!

For me, Saddam's legacy is that of hating America and all it stands for; spilling a lot of blood; mental instability; ending up in a spider hole... al-Sadr lives up to Saddam's legacy in my opinion.

I heard it was not just the father, but 2 brothers also. Looks like it has scarred him badly.

I beleive he would not be in Iraq, right now, if it hadn't been for the US liberation.

"You cannot change the definition of "legacy" for convenience" I did not, nor would I dare try to change the definition of "legacy." Of course I'm using a rather old dictionary, but it defines "legacy" as: 1. Money or other property left to a person by a will. 2. Something that has been handed down from an ancestor or predecessor.
None of these things apply according to the definition, but then, neither does your version of "legacy" apply. You, it seems, are the one who has tried to change the definition. And while there may be some other word she could have used instead of "legacy," there was no intellectual dishonesty either.

Okay....let's agree to disagree!
cheers

"I heard it was not just the father, but 2 brothers also. Looks like it has scarred him badly." Sadr reminds me of the Democrats using the funeral of Wellstone as a pep rally. A real opportunistic bastard.

LOL - A Jack Daniels it is then!

That stuff will kill ya!
It's Johnny Black on the rocks for me! ;^)
To: DCPatriot
That Johnny Walker Black is good stuff! Jack Daniels will kill you, but you'll go out singing the Star Spangled Banner, and a few other patriotic songs.
To: Enterprise
I'll bet that you might forget some of the lyrics though...
;^)
To: DCPatriot
LOL - It gets a little embarrassing, but in the morning, I can't remember that I forgot.

I was really hoping this was a War on Terror and Syria/Iran (states allowing terrorists and troops to join the terrorists/enemy soldiers already fighting in Iraq) would quickly be next. They obviously decided to slow us down in Iraq to keep the heat off of them. For now I pray...
