Militant: We get signal soiled pants.
Militant: Main screen rug turn on over.

They're not advanced enough to have "signals" or "screens."

Is that a slab of reactive armor on the door of that Humvee?

A ceramic applique seperation shield from a Huey Cobra's turbine shielding, I think. It's about the right size, or possibly armor augmentation plate for the Humvee made of similar materials, purpose-built to fit the size and application required.

Since the fabric carriers for such plates have to be custom-fitted, plates originally meant for other applications can be quickly adapted to newer uses by simply dropping them in a new nylon carrier, and attaching them for use. It's real hard to tell what quality and grade plate is inside, until you pull the plate out and check.

I once received two composite ceramic clipboards for testing, set one up and blasted away at one with hot .41 magnum and .357 pointed-bullet loads, none of which made it through. Duly impressed, I carried the second on a more-or-less daily basis for most of a decade.

I did miss your sarcasm, oops. As far as respect goes, I guess despite their souls defiling their bodies in life, I think repsecting the bodies in death is appropriate.

SInce I dont like a radical reputation (not too much anyway), I'll be more careful when posting sarcasm in the future. How should I expect anyone to just know?

We should respect the bodies of the dead, or risk losing our own humanity. The United States has the moral high ground in this war and many are counting on us. Comments like mine can hurt as much as the anti-war comments made by the socialists (read: democrats) in this country.

Oh God ... I saw part of that too

The socialists (read: democrats) in this country do remind one of roaches dont they? When they see one roach motel, they attempt to scurry around it - to avoid it at any cost, well, I think they will be checking in real soon - and they wont check out!

I agree, I'm a Christian (Lutheran) and I don't "denounce" the Mormons myself. While I've heard quibbling about the Mormon church, I've not heard a whole lot. (Can't say that for Jehovah's Witnesses - a good deal more on that.)

As for the KKK, I don't understand why that even plays in the equation. They never claimed to be a religious sect, anyway, basically a political 1 or "cultural". (Who ever heard of KKK calling themselves some kind of special followers of Christ, interpreting the Word a certain way?) So it seems a silly thing to even bring up as far as "heresies".

In the other posters' defense, tho, I don't think it was meant necessarily to equate the KKK and Mormon Church as being the same in action, as just to say they are heretical in most Christians' eyes. (Now read 1st paragraphs again.)

Not since Mitch Werbell at SIONICS passed away. They were a Christmas present from him. There was another fella looking into producing something similar, and he got my old tested one for R&D. The one I was used was swiped from me by a paramedic.

There's a possibility of someone turning out a version in a year or so. If anything comes of it, I'll ping you, and see you get one as a beta tester.

Yes, they do attend mosque. Women and young children meet in a separate area of the mosque. Sometimes in the an open courtyard outside, or in a separate meeting room with a speaker piping in the 'sermon' of the day. Boys older than ten or eleven attend the men's section with older relatives. While praying in the family, or in a large group the women are always to stand behind the men and older male children.

I just hope we could show our support with a few thousand troops and heaps of hardware... One bit of good news, though, de Villepin is no longer our Foreign Minister. His successor, Michel Barnier, is not the pompous, arrogant and rabidly anti-American fool de Villepin is.

I don't think anybody has any doubt about insurgents using Mosques and others protected buildings to snipe at soldiers. Not a single article, not even leftist commentators have tried to portray the attack on the Mosque as a self-defense action from Allied troops.

Sorry it took me so long to see your post to me, but I was not the one who put the Mormons in the same category as the KKK. I was replying to somebody else's post on what constitutes a Christian, and the fact there are certain standards that need to be met for you to be considered Christian.

You might be offended with me putting the Mormons in the cult category, but I am not the one who does: You are classified that way by every Christian church there is(Protestant or catholic). Try the book "Kingdom of the Cults", a book on Christian cults and why they are classified that way. Mormonism does not meet the requirements for being Christian, just a cult offshoot. If that is offensive then I am not the one to blame for that classification. Besides which as a Mormon you already know how Mormon's are viewed by Christianity at large, that is why you go door in 2's because there are those of us out there with the knowledge and willing to tell what is unBiblical about Mormons.

Mormonism does not meet the requirements for being Christian

Well, thank goodness you and these others who make such classifications are not the One who will be my Judge.

As I said earlier to you..."Jesus Christ is my personal Savior. I have accepted Him as my Redeemer and taken His name upon me. I trust Him and know that salvation only comes through His name. My sincere witness to you of this should (most probably by your own definition) indicate that I am not only a Christian...but that I am also saved."

That's all that really needs to be said.

Fregards.
