Specter is reminding me of Nixon in this debate.

Toomey saying "Senator Spectre doesn't have his facts right". That about sums up Spectre's campaign.

Spector seems shaken, while reading his hands are shaking. Confidence seems gone. Let's hope!

The moderator always cuts the rambling Specter off while Toomey is always to the point.

This debate is meaningless. Nobody's watching it. Specter isn't gonna lose. All Toomey does is soften him up to make it more likely he loses to the Dem in the fall.
Toomey isn't far right; he's far out. ;-)

Can't believe Spectre devoted the first half of his closing argument to his father's bonus.

Spector = Liberal RINO(a democrat in a not so convincing disguise)
Toomey = Conservative(representing the core of Republican party beliefs)
Now with these two choices in a Republican primary why would anyone vote for Spector(besides the dems that are reportedly switching parties just for this election so they can vote for Spector)? And just because Spector MIGHT have a better chance at winning the senate seat it is pointless to elect a candidate that is unreliable and uncommitted to standing up for his party's base beliefs.

Toomey is killing him!

Mr Specter's closing statement sums up his performance in Washington for the last 24 years. The Senator from Scotland claims that he initially ran for office to seek some sort of 'bonus' for his immigrant father. He said that, to this day, his father has still not received that bonus. Mr Specter admitted here that he tried for 24 years, as a United States Senator, to get a reparation for his father and FAILED. I hardly think that sending him back for another six years will help him reach that goal.
Vote Toomey......
