America no longer white, united, English-speaking

In 1960, when JFK defeated Nixon, America was a nation of 160 million, 90 percent white and 10 percent black, with a few million Hispanics and Asians sprinkled among us.

We were one nation, one people. We worshipped the same God, spoke the same English language, studied American history and English literature, honored the same heroes, read the same books, watched the same TV shows, went to the same movies and saw ourselves as defenders of Western civilization against the godless communism of the Soviet Empire.

We were confident and proud of who we were. That was yesterday. But due to the Immigration Act of 1965 and the cultural revolution of the '60s, that America is now gone forever. And as one studies the latest projections of the Census Bureau, the America of our grandchildren will be another country altogether, a nation unrecognizable to our parents, a giant Brazil of the North.

In 2050, there will be three times as many people living here as in 1960 -- 420 million. White Americans will be a minority, 49 percent, and falling. Hispanics in the United States, more than 100 million, will be equal to the population of today's Mexico. Our Asian population will be almost as large as our African-American population today.

By countries of origin, America will be a Third World nation. Our cities will look like Los Angeles today. Los Angeles and the cities of Texas, Arizona and California will look like Mexico City.

Writing in Foreign Policy, Harvard Professor Samuel Huntington, author of Who We Are, raises an alarm about the huge infusion of Hispanics into the Southwest, and for many reasons.

Much of this mass immigration is illegal. Vast numbers are coming here only to work. They are not assimilating. They do not want to become Americans. They are concentrating in states bordering Mexico, which is their country and a nation with a historic grievance against us. They are holding on to their language and culture, creating a Hispanic nation within our nation. By 2050, there will be scores of millions of people living here whose loyalty is to a foreign country.

Moreover, as multiculturalism has captured our schools and colleges, immigrant children will have prejudices and grievances against America and the West reinforced as they learn. The academic elite that controls these schools already paints America as a nation with a rancid history of genocide, slavery, racism, oppression and imperialism.

Is the Census Bureau future the future that Americans wish? No. Are they willing to risk it for their grandchildren? No.

Why, then, does that future appear inevitable?

Answer: Though a majority of Americans wish to preserve the land they grew up in for their children, our elites -- political, academic, cultural and corporate -- are either unwilling to conserve that America or indifferent to its disappearance.

Most Americans want immigration cut back and all illegal aliens sent back. Why is the will of the majority, expressed in polls and referenda, not reflected in law or policy? Because we no longer live in a democratic republic; we are ruled by a managerial elite.

America's corporate elites want an endless supply of cheap labor. Our judges throw out popularly enacted laws to which they object. Our academic elites work to see ''white, racist America'' disappear. Our neo-Marxist cultural elites wish to be the gravediggers of the West and of Christian culture. And America's conservative party, the Republican Party, believes that Hispanics hold the key to retention of presidential power and is anxious not to offend Mexican President Vicente Fox.

If, by 2050, the America we grew up in has become a Tower of Babel of squabbling minorities that is falling apart, it will be because of the treason of the elites, and our lack of will to overthrow them.

I have nothing against the Mexican (Indian) people. IMHO they are the hardest working people in the US. I have traveled from Maryland to Florida to Texas to Nebraska and I see these people working and building this country. They cut the grass, paint the buildings, build power plants, build roads, build houses, take care of your kids, clean your house, etc., etc. Many of them are living the American dream. I am lucky to know some of them.

Some of the stories I have heard about Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc. would turn your stomach. Vicente Fox and his ilk are slowly purging the undesirable Indian from Mexico. Socialist Europeans are running Mexico and its drug trade. They are exploiting those people. There are a small handful of families in Mexico that rule like kings.

One of my best friends who snuck in here when he was nine years old is now a Chemical Engineer (Aggie '94). He tells me how he and some of his Ex-patriots would love to go back and start a new country in Mexico.

I suggested that the Northern states of Mexico should call for independence so we can swoop in and annex them. Most of them are living or working here anyway...and besides could you imagine how cheap beach front or Mountain property would be!

If these are the "initiators" of "white" culture (which I don't think is true), that means you consider "white" culture to have originated only in the late 1700s to 1800s.

"White" culture is incorrect. There is an English culture which we are derived from, but due to the mix of Irish, Scotish, Germans, Italians, etc. we are now an "American" culture. Our main roots are still the "English" culture whose origins can be dated from either the signing of the Magna Carta (1215) or the Norman French conquest of England (1066). This "English" culture itself is a mix of Germanic and Roman (through the French) cultures. The Roman culture is derived from Etruscan and Greek sources (and if you believe the Aenid, from Troy, a Lydian/Hittite source) which is derived from Persian and Egyptian and Mesopotamian sources. The Germanic was pretty primitive but is derived from the proto Indo-European culture.

In all reality, no one really knows who was here first ... so any claim by "Mexicans," "Indians," or "Whites" is irrelevant.

True again. That does make it difficult to term tribes like the Chippawa and Iriquouis etc., eh? ;)
we can't call them Native Americans and can't call them Indians as well they aren't any more native than anyone else and they aren't Indians!

Aboriginies are supposed to have their own category but are generally thought of as caucasian.

hmm... I didn't know that, I thought Australian aborigines were placed under a separate grouping called the Australoid group which wasn't part of the Negroid group.

Mexicans are unique to the Immigration model that they U.S. has set-up. Mexicans are the only group that are not seperated from their homeland by large distances or by a huge body of water.

When you are totally cut-off from your past culture and language then it is easier to assimilate. For instance, Germans who came here now speak English and not German. Many of them became protestant, etc.

Mexicans on the other hand are not like this. My solution is that we have Americans retire in Mexico and change the culture from within...oh Mexicans should have a right to keep and bear arms too. They are defenseless right now in their country. Being able to defend yourself would go a long way to stop the flow of immigration. People are only going to invest and better themselves if they feel safe, and secure in their person and property.

I was asatru for a while, a handmaiden of Freya and Odin. My best friend in college was from Norway and VERY into Viking history and religion and as such I studied with him. Fascinating, esp. the Eddas and Sagas and I did have the Hamaval memorized but I can't recall now like Hillary Clinton. Except today 90% of the folks in asatru are just in it for the storm front aryan brotherhood much like many folks are rastafarians to smoke weed.

I've seen that and other books they were listed as caucasian but am I skeptical of evolutionary biology in the first place.

But would these Caucasoids be Indo-European? -- the race from which most Europeans are descended (except for the Hungarians, Bulgarians, Basques and Chechens). Indo-Europeans are known to have moved out of their Central Asian-Persian-north Indian homelands only in the 3rd /4th millenium B.C. when the Hittites and Mittani came on the scene in Asia Minor. Or would these be a different branch of Caucasoids (the BAsque/Chechen type) which mostly died out under the indo-european invasion?

Well??? That was my college experience :-) I probably still would be Odinist (mostly to study Scandanavian history and rune casting) were I not running into neo-nazis 90% of the time (mostly unemployed posers searching for meaning). But I'm back around to good ole bible reading.

Here in the North, most of the Indians casinos are total mafia run rackets. Someone finds an individual with 1/100000000000th of a drop of Indian blood and voila! a casino. HOWEVER, I am 100% behind NY state tribes because they're the only ones who have the stones to fight the government tax machine.
