My guess is: whack job. We had a person here in my town claim to be raped, turned the whole city on its ear for days, and it turned out she did it herself (I'll spare you details.) She wanted sympathy (and money) from her parents.

I agree. The person named "Dick" who is making such mean remarks on this thread might want to consider the HELL her family went through during the time this girl was missing.

This is not a stunt. Most certainly she is in the preliminary stages of schizophrenia.

My daughter was also a brilliant girl, teaching herself to read at age 4, and skipping a couple of grades. All was lost to mental illness. When she went to the university she slowly began to lose touch with reality. Within 4 years, she was wandering the streets, sleeping under bridges and eating out of garbage cans. She could not comprehend or accept assisted living environments. She refused to do anything but wander the streets alone. We were powerless to help her. She eventually died on the street.

My prayers are with Audrey and her family.
