WASHINGTON -- While blaming President Bush for the high price of gasoline, his Democratic challenger, Sen. John Kerry, on Tuesday reiterated his opposition to drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, saying it is no solution.
"We deserve an administration that doesn't fake it to the American people and pretend that somehow by drilling in the Alaska wildlife refuge we can deal with the problems of America," Kerry, D-Mass., told university students in San Diego. "We can't provide the supply of oil America needs from the Alaska wildlife refuge or from any other source in the United States, because we only have 3 percent of the world's oil reserves."

Increasing the supply will not lower the cost?
You have got to be kidding, or perhaps very stupid.

John F. Seinfeld implies we don't have enough oil to meet our needs for a couple of decades. That's just BS. Talk about who is "faking out" the American people on the issue of where we're going to get our oil. When it comes to freeing America from dependence on unstable places like Saudi Arabia and Venezuela, Seinfeld simply won't hear of it.

Bush and Co. should air some commercials about the idiots who voted against ANWR are hurting our economy and our jobs.

"We deserve an administration that doesn't fake it to the American people and pretend that somehow by drilling in the Alaska wildlife refuge we can deal with the problems of America," No one has implied drilling ANWR would solve all of our problems, monsieur Kerry. However, only an french boob like yourself cant see the benefits of weaning ourselves off of middle east oil..

He has no idea of how the economy works.
If he tries to freeze Gas prices and manufacturing costs go up, guess what will happen: Less gas since no one will produce it at a loss.
It is just silly.

Not only should he be exposed for telling Kerry Tales, at the same time, we can't repeat enough: HORIZONTAL DRILLING would make the enviro-damage infinitesimal in that gigantic Royal Tundra, similar to the precious Royal Forest, where every deer was reserved for the King's amusement.

Bush and Co. should air some commercials showing year round pictures of exactly where they want to open up to drilling and what acreage percentage of the whole ANWR that is. If normal people were aware of the real facts of ANWR drilling, we'd be drilling there already.

Remember the pipeline controversy? The left claimed it would kill off the caribou. They have actually increased in number!
Reliance on Middle East oil is 60% of America's problems. We really need to get away from it..

What an idiot.
ANWR is estimated to be able to produce 1,000,000 barrels a day... and Kerry claims it won't affect oil prices.
On the other hand, he wants us to stop filling the Strategic Petroleum Reserves by 1,000,000 barrels a day, and claims that will lower prices... Which it won't.
Apparently, he doesn't see the contradiction.
Even funnier, he claims President Bush doesn't do enough about national security, yet he's willing to put the entire American economy at risk by not increasing our reserves.
That's incredibly irresponsible considering the current terrorist threat to oil facilities and the disruption to the economy that would be caused by oil supplies.
Of course, an economic crash is his only hope for winning the election...

You have got to be kidding, or perhaps very stupid.Or just plain deceitful. (Ding, ding...we have a winner!)
Funny how, just recently, Kerry criticized Bush, suggesting that the President stop replenishing the strategic petroleum reserves (sucked dry by Clintoon) so that the extra (relatively small) supply of oil may instead be diverted to the consumer market in order to lower current prices.

Absolutely. Id love to see W issue an executive order starting the drilling. And Id want Halliburton to be the sole contractor..

Well, this should be simple enough. How many million barrels of oil does the U.S. use in a day, and how many million barrels of oil would AWNR produce, and for how long? If it would only supply about 1% of what the U.S. uses, it's not going to have much effect on gasoline prices (throw in what quality of oil is expected to be produced, as well). If it's 50%, it will have an effect. Where does it fall?

Even funnier, the amount we are filling the reserves by which he's like to direct to the market is the SAME AMOUNT that we would pump from ANWR.
He has no shame, and the Presstitutes won't call him on it.
It's gonna be a long 8 months.

Another funny Kerry quirk-he wants to stop filling the reserves, But the Bush admin wont stop because its a matter of National Security. The same Nationail Security the left, read Kerry, said at the 9/11 hearings that the Bush paid no attention to!

Knowles campaign aide Matt McKenna said there's more to Kerry than his position on ANWR. Kerry has said that he supports construction of an Alaska natural gas pipeline and drilling elsewhere in Alaska's Arctic, McKenna noted
Oh GOD this is just too funny! Kerry is for Drilling but he is against drilling! How is this guy over 40% in the polls? You have to be a complete brain dead Democrat fanatic not to see what a National Embarassment John Kerry is!
