LIBERAL RADIO IS FINISHING IT'S FIRST HOUR! OH MY GOSH!
http://www.wlib.com ^ | March 30, 2004

Whoever said that liberal radio couldn't be entertaining certainly hasn't listened to the first hour of this "monumental event". This show is so bad. Just to amuse yourself with what the liberals want to air in a head-to-head showdown against Rush Limbaugh, give it a listen. It will make your day. Needless to say, no worries of success here.

"If their idea of a show is a constant running interview with cast changes every half-hour or hour, they are in for a rude awakening."

Yep, especially a show intent on spewing out the same DemonRAT talking points we get on the networks and elsewhere in the Vast, LeftWing Medyuh Whore'd!!

I'm on a T3 and they are breaking up a lot.

Meaning a slow server? Meaning a few extra connections can bring them down? I could help. I don't have any speakers.

They ARE right -- great self-analysis -- conservatives get up in the EARLY morning to do a 'day's work', as opposed to libs who only see the dawn if they're still struggling to get home at dawn from the previous night.

Too bad they won't apply it, we'd ALL benefit!

If you aren't an Arbitron diary keeper, you won't affect their ratings.

Dang! You mean those radio surveillance trucks spying on people don't report back to corporate America? I thought
that was the whole purpose of those black vans. (Except in the UK, where they report "unlicensed" BBC receivers to extract fines.)

What about those frequency examining billboards that display ads based on what car radios are tuned to?

There is no way for them to know you listen (on a radio, anyway) without you telling them. If someone ever asks me if I listen, I would say Hell No! even if I did. (So far, I haven't but I might just to hear how bad it is.)

I think roger does a good job filling in for Rush.. I had heard that there were only a couple of stations carrying it so far.. the other day a freeper said 3...

Rush may be in DC with the testimony on speech freedom (ala howard sterm mentality) it has been a little hush hush I guess. OUr local talk show person (largest talk show radio Ohio audience) is reported to be there also.

Thus, some liberal businessmen decided to invest what they feel is a paltry sum, with the potential of a huge financial windfall as soon as 'middle-America' wakes up to the siren call of Liberalism

The investors cannot be so stupid as to think that Franken is a good economic bet.

This is a giant CFR-skirting hate-spewing political attack ad. I cannot even imagine a scenario where this tripe becomes economically viable. Heck, if it was economically viable, they wouldn't be buying stations in order to broadcast.

Liberal talk radio could, at least in theory, be a good business in some markets. However, no way, no how would this be the model of someone pursuing this from a business perspective.

We need a list of the companies that are buying commercial time to keep this afloat. It is boycott time!!

How does one boycott the US Army?

The question is, why is the U.S. army, AKA federal government, supporting a political network like this?

I agree. We need a list of advertisers.

However, no way, no how would this be the model of someone pursuing this from a business perspective.

You are ignoring the Liberal Mantra, "Liberals are smarter than you are; conservatives are simply uneducated liberals". They honestly believe, with all their being that they are more educated, more sophisticated and more enlightened than the great unwashed.

Liberals will be the first to tell you that "if you truly understood the situation", you too would be a liberal. So, how do they approach this? Get a hilariously funny liberal (Al Franken is certainly a massive failure here) and as soon as the public learns the 'truth' of Liberalism, their investment will displace Rush, Hannity and the others. And I'm telling you, this is a HUGE financial market they are going after.

Given the very poor financial shape of the Democratic party, they can't afford to spend this money on radio solely to promote their ideas, without a huge cash reserve .... unless this is their way around the McCain bill which limits speech during the voting season.

Tesla; SCOTUS 1943.

My thoughts exactly. Marconi deserves some credit for his commercial exploitation of radio technology, but Tesla was the real genius.

Tesla was a true genius, but from what I have read by and about him, it is not exactly clear that he really understood the concept of radio waves and how they propagate. His "transmitter" on Long Island appears to have been conceived as an enormous Tesla coil.

In the last segment, Moore read a couple letters from "anonymous" servicemen and their supposed hatred for W. Unbelieveable. I'm sure Moore could have just written up a couple "letters". Franken talked about his USO tours and how he enjoyed it...blah....blah...blah. Franken at one point also said offhandedly that he is not a good interviewer - his female partner, probably has some radio experience, cut him off and went to commercial.

Pathetic.

Oh, and just by the way, I learned that most Americans are liberals.

Now, Al Gore just called in. Moore is saying he's sorry...that Gore won....and Tennessee....Ralph Nader....now commenting how he fell off the Nader bus and then went to Florida 2 weeks before the election to change peoples minds about voting for Naders. Gore said he's not going to comment on Nader...this show is a very important show....working on cable station purchase. Moore said their is no Oxycotin in the studio...they have been drug-free for two hours....Moore now admits that he voted for Nader in New York (so he went to Florida to tell other epople to not vote their "consciense" then left for NY and voted for Nader anyway.) Gore says DNC drifted away from him. Gore hangs up after saying he will do the show....now we are back to Ann Coulter locked in Green Room.

Pathetic!

Torchthemummy - over and out!

What station in the LA area???? Haven't heard what actual stations in the designated cities are carrying the show.

In Los Angeles the show is on KBLA 1580. It's hilarious since KBLA is a Korean language station. Apparently Air America buys 3 hours a day from them. Hahaha!

1) It is not financed by the Dem party, but by liberals, who are limited in how much they can give directly to the party.

2) I already advocated that this is their way around CFR. It is a giant paid attack ad that will run right through the 60 day blackout period.

Within a week they will have to have Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon on every 20 minutres just to fill up air time.

Franken is not going to last strapped to a desk M-F for very long.

We need one brave soul in radiation gear to listen to this tripe, and LIST THE ADVERTISERS.

With few exceptions, Liberal Radio Advertisers will make A GREAT BOYCOTT LIST!
