When you think about it, it totally makes sense : Air America the liberal radio network, will not be broadcasting in the DC metro area.. DC went 70 percent for Gore! They don't need convincing.

We suspect that Air America will blow. Then again, it could suck.

Or perhaps it will achieve some mysterious simultaneous combination of the two. And while we are normally unopposed to mocking things that we have no direct knowledge of, this material seems rich.

Hey! That ad they had for the local lefty guy in Portland actually sounded pretty good, from the standpoint of production-values. If the owners want their AAR to succeed, they should drop O'Franken and pick up the local guy.

Car Talk is more interesting than this...

Car talk gets real tedious real fast, but the guys actually know something and enjoy talking about it. You can tell when someone loves what they are doing.

From what I'm reading, Franken will be hating life within two weeks. Three hours of radio is hard work. Rush can do it because it's like breathing to him.

Franken can do television because there's visual stuff to fill the dead air. It takes years to get good at radio.
