I was waiting for this to go up. We're about t-minus one hour from it (depending on how long Duke-Xavier goes, I guess). Too bad it's not going to be a long interview like Clarke had. I've noticed that 60 Minutes are not promoting this either. The commercial I just saw advertised the story on soccer phenom Freddy Adu, not the story on Rice or Pickering. I also discovered from the link referenced above that Rice spoke to them this morning and not yesterday as I'd heard would be the case before. Bill Kristol predicted this morning that Rice might say that if this is really such a big deal that she'll testify in public under oath as she's been badgered to do. I don't think Bill has a good track record on predicting news, so take that with a grain of salt. By the way, go Xavier-- I had Duke losing before now in my office pool bracket, but my opponents have them winning it all.

She should have demanded it be Clarke's co-conspirator, Leslie Stahl!

I don't have the answer to your question, but it would stand to reason that it was easy to get into flight schools during the Clinton administration. All of his officials were too busy donning their kneepads to do Clinton's bidding on saving his legacy. America's safety was not a pressing issue.

Ran into the quote the other day...the biggest problem with basketball and football is how they waste otherwise perfectly good, well-premarked shooting ranges.

Still waiting on 60 Minutes as the Duke game is not over yet. Funny how the promos for 60 Minutes mention a story on Freddie Adu but nothing about Condi Rice.

"well-premarked shooting ranges." I like it. I have a friend who says if you know how many guns you have, you don't have enough.

Ijaz has backed totally off his assertion that Sudan offered clinton OBL. He is now saying that the CIA or FBI probably did not convey that information to the executive branch because they disliked each other so much.
Guess we are going to have NOT believe our lying ears.......clinton saying that the reason he did not take OBL was because we didn't have a legal reason to hold him....just never ever happened.

Amazing. When they had Clarke on they advertised it 24/7.

Exactly.. Russert is one giant sucking sound. Remember the time he "corrected" answers for the Republican candidates when he was the moderator? It took old "the black candidate" (name won't come to me) to point it out. Even then you could see it was bothering Russert.

This is my first time having the TV on to CBS or any commercial station in months. I'd forgotten how annoying all the popups are. You can't click them off no matter what you do...just have to wait them out.

Just remember...60 Minutes gets the last word: editing.
