I just voted. I can't believe this many people actually believe that the Administration should "have done more!"

They should be publicly horsewhipped for even putting the idea out there.

Did FDR apologize for Pearl Harbor?

On the other hand, Billy Jeff Blythe did apologize to some African king or President For Life for America's slavery. IIRC, the king told him to FO, which is what half the 911 families will tell Bush if he makes an apology.

Should former President Bill Clinton apologize for failing to prevent the 9/11 attacks?

I don't believe either should apologize for any of it. Don't think they should be having polls like this for either man. But I guess fair is fair.

This garbage could be ended rather quickly if Clintion had some class and came out and said don't blame Bush for 9/11, he couldn't have stopped it, I couldn't have stopped it, Gore couldn't have stopped it, no one could have stopped these madmen. So much for ex-Presidents showing respect to current administrations. Here is to hoping Carter and Clinton rot in hell.

Well, it sure isn't moving, that's for sure. Something fishy about this poll.

I agree.

This poll is an obvious spin on Clarke's apology to the 9/11 families during his 9/11 commission testimony.

Just pay attention to the way it's worded.

The real apology by the administration was to the entire population of the United States when this administration went to war to try to actually prevent that terrible day from ever happening again (as much as possible).
