My father, known on here as RANGERAIRBORNE, passed away this morning at 4am alaska time.

I don't really know where to post this, so I am putting it here.

I adored your dad.
Jack and I were pen plas intermittently.
I learned so much from him.
I saved several of his notes.

He loved yall so much.
His family was everything to him.

I am stuned and so saddened.
He had the most delicious sense of humor.

I am so sorry for your loss. In reading some of your dad's posts, he was quite an interesting guy. It's a loss for Free Republic as well.

Words cannot convey the sorrow I feel for the loss of a fellow Brother in Arms.

Those of us who fought together have watched our ranks thinned by War and time.

We who have endured untold peril will remember our fallen Brothers by upholding their honor.

We will do our duty as we have pledged and we will not falter for friend or foe.

More so, we will pass this tradition on to our youth, so that they may not lose sight of the values we proudly received, from those who carried this burden before us.
