FR DNS problems...
today

DNS lookups failing for FR here - no such host. Apparently I'm not the only one, judging from a glance at the Yahoo FR board. Dunno if it's my ISP (Verizon) or what, but I had to manually edit the hosts file to get here. Presumably, if you can post, you're not having this problem, but there are more than a few people who can't post right now because of it...

I remember very little before the space shuttle Columbia's launch in 1981...
Aw, hang on, I remember the Air New Zealand disaster in Antarctica in November 1979. (Not good for an airline whose advertising tagline at the time was "Nobody Does it Better"...)
But yeah, I'm a young 'un.
(And thanks for the heads-up in post 499, Dolly... I didn't even think that was a very good photo of me! But thanks for the thought...)

I haven't looked at all the posts on this thread, it may have been adressed, but if not I will take the lead. Our "friends" over there at that other site are having a good time at our troubles. They must be laughing like jackles. Little do they know we are alive and well and posting as usual. We get the last laugh, though.

Seems your tagline got broken in the process. It should say 'no.'

Warning to anyone typing in the Fr url. I misspelled it Frerepublic.com (note the dropped e) and I landed in some hell hole spam site. I'm glad I'm on a Mac as god knows what disease lurks there...

Hi GL, I didn't go to DU, but I always know that TLBSHOW will be 'up' on what is happening here and he always posts the URL. Otherwise I wouldn't have got here!!

Who are you? Who is Petunia? What is Babe in the City?Who am I? Geez. Another blow to the old ego.
Petunia escaped from the Village People after the breakout from the Pool-Poopey Thread and of course Babe in the City was the sequel to Babe whom Petunia resembles when she isn't in drag singing at the SOPAC Saloon & Good Time Pirates Bar which was turned into a fern bar which gave rise to those damn viking kittens....
...shall I go on or are you sorry you asked?

It seems the tiny handful of tiny-minded people at LP and FU have nothing better to do than attack FR.

It must be as I still can't use my normal process to get in here. I really don't understand all of the computereze and know that once I am off here, I won't get back on until this thing is fixed!
