Yes, it is disgusting. This is all about rehabbing Clinton. You can bet he and Hillary were burning up the phone lines last night.

Clarke just like McCain is to get a top spot in the new Kerry Administration. That pure and simple is the reason for his change of mind. Political bribery, the most effective bribery on Capitol Hill.

He did nothing...own up to it you demoncat. You are weak. Lies are spewing.

I'm anticipating at any moment Ben-Veniste will stick his tongue in Bergers ear, and whisper "I have a secret".

Why isn't anyone talking about Louie Freeh? Didn't he have access to Central Intelligence as well?

What is interesting to me is that I will bet cash money a CBS reporter was in that background briefing. Amazingly, not one other reporter has come forward to point out that Clarke is directly contradicting his previous statements.
God bless Jim Angle!
To: windchime
This stuff is available because Jim Angle (God love him) is a PACKRAT!!! And he just remembered that he had it this morning - coincidentally on the day of Clarke's testimony? Just in time to let the commissioners a copy?
Jim deserves a Pulitzer - or at least a drink.

And did you know John Kerry served in Viet Nam????

They are both talking out in left field about nothing...burning time...what a SCAM!!

Mornin' Chris....wanted to run something by you...I think that one of the things the administration needs to do ASAP is to replace the WH press secretary. I'm sure he's a good guy, and devoted and loyal to the president, but he comes across as such a wuss..he's got no spine..and when the media is in full throat and outcry, I'd like to see someone at the podium with at least a deeper voice. Am I wrong?

FOX should have broken this news earlier, rather than now. The commission probably won't even bring this tape up when Clarke testifies. Clarke will get away scot free.I think it will discredit the commission as well as Clarke. Those on the commission will have egg on their face.

Wonder if Fox held off on this until Berger stated testifying so Beger and Clarke will be caught in several additional and more embarrassing lies.
Don't think Clarke is going to have a very enjoyable lunch prior to testifying. Bet he is having an 'Oh Sh!t' moments about right now.
