I don't even trust Zell Miller. If you have a (D) after your name you don't get my vote or my trust, no matter who you are. (D) = dead to me.

Aren't these clowns supposed to figure out a better way to protect Americans?
I'm so disgusted!
To: Bahbah
They could have done better. Lehman should have brought up the Sudan offer, the Gore Commission and 93 WTC (in ways he didn't) and that would have been powerful.
To: maica; Howlin
Gorelick is questioning as if President Bush knew the exact nature and date of the attack! %%%% Wouldn't be surprised to know that some leftists associated with Scott Ritter, former UNSCOM inspector knew something was coming down :

* My note: Truthout's associated with getting the story out about former Ambassador Wilson of the Nigerflap/Novak/Plame-outing thing. Ash's partner is Pitt, coauthor of one of Ritter's books, popular dude on DU as I recall. Book deals, Iraq and 911, what a coincidence!

This Administration understands hardball and the leftist agenda of its enemies just fine. And, more often than not, we win. We now control both chambers of Congress, defying history in 2002. Look at the legislative accomplishments of this President -- the RATS are scared to death regarding their prospects in November, from the top of the ticket to the bottom.
The Administration will strike back hard on Clarke, mindful that if they strike too hard it will just give him another day in the news.
We are dealing with brilliant people on our side. I grant you that it's often difficult to maintain that mindset, because it's not like we have cheerleaders in the media on our side.

I saw Gorelick on CSPAN this morning (yuK) and she played stupid when several callers asked about Monsoor Ijaz.

I think after today we've realized that really hasn't been the objective of at least the democRATS on the commission. Just trying to paint Bush as bad President, as usual. And trying their level best.

Why didn't someone say to Clarke - re: his 1992 interview...ARE YOU LYING NOW OR WERE YOU LYING THEN????
Clarke's told so many lies, which ones are we supposed to believe?

If you extend the hand of fairness and comity to the RAT bastards they will ultimately beat you to death with it. The "new tone" doesn't cut it. I only hope this isn't a lesson learned too late.

Applause in response to testimony and comments of the Commissioners should never be allowed. In all other hearings such conduct is immediately condemned by the Chair. But Keane just lets it go on and on, inexcusable.

fire up the bong...you obviously scored some good stuff...five points lower MAX...most people haven't, and won't have, heard a thing.
Kinda wondering why no one mentioned toe-sucker's appearance on Sean Hannity's show today...he's right.

Keane is timid. Easy meat for RAT-bastards.

Did you listen to the press conference after the hearing today. It was mentioned the Clark changed the release of his book to coincide with his testimony date......Certainly wasn't missed by either side of the aisle. In fact they said the Commissioners were joking about Clarke making money on it.

Bingo, if Bush goes down in November it will not be because he gave the Left too little, it will be because he gave them too much.

Here's what I wrote to the commission:
To whom it may concern:
I am deeply outraged at the atmosphere of the public hearings, especially the latitude allowed by the clapping, cheering, and laughing among the attendees in the audience, which certainly, wouldn't be allowed if they were in the gallery of the Senate of House of Representatives. The committee members at the table have shown a partisanship, not to investigate the events of 9/11, but to "get Bush out of office", while taking potshots at Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
The committee members have shown they aren't interested in learning the facts of the incident that brought up 9/11, by continually citing from a book Richard Clarke has written and seeks to gain a profit from the selling of the book.
Richard Clarke himself agreed with the President 2 years ago, contradicting the charges he's laid out in his book in 2004.
This commission isn't a terror investigation, rather, this commission is nothing more than a witch-hunt, seeking the removal of one of the best qualified Presidents to combat terrorism. More so than Clinton ever did during his 8 year tenure as President.
The commission should be ashamed of themselves by being nothing more than a Democratic political tool and witch-hunt, and is a travesty to every single victim's family of the 9/11 attacks, by denying them the full scope of what really went on, instead, focusing on the partisanship of the Bush-hate crowd.
