Has anyone noted that Tenet is incredibly handsome in a girlish sort of way, he is pretty, and that is not meant as an insult. He looks like when he was a kid, he got away with murder because of his charm. He is cute as a button. That said, Idon't trust him a bit.

Exactly when did we learn of the '98 Fatwah against AMERICANS?
Was that not BEFORE Atta left airplanes on runways in Florida?

Tenet was nominated by Clinton on March 19, 1997.

I didn't realize there were so many attacks during the Y2K time period. I must have been to busy stocking up on tuna and bottled water.

Tenet again making the point that the war will go on for many years. Says we need stamina.
To: Right_in_Virginia
well, for starters he is a Clinton appointee. Second, I have seen him testifying when he sort of does little stabs at bush.

Question: How did you communicate intelligence with President Clinton? (That's a good question.) Tenet answering delicately. Mostly he met with Sandy Berger, it sounds like to me.
To: lysie
I wonder if anyone on this "committee" will have the brains/cajones to confront clarke on the many reversals and inconsistencies between things he's stated in the recent past and the garbage he is spewing in his "book".
I hope they rip this miserable piece of used bovine food to shreds, but I'm not holding my breath waiting.

Commission members were all over TV last night. I heard them say that they had known Clarke for years and that he was very creditable. I hope that perception will be shattered today. We'll see.
To: cajungirl
I've heard him be very supportive of the President.

I wonder if these were written reports to Berger.
