Wow, Kerrey just directly attacked Fox News, saying it should be called "occassionally 'fair and balanced'" because it released a "background briefing." Of course, Kerrey didn't say why this was wrong, just implied that background briefings are off the record or something.
Pretty funny that a supposedly serious former Senator would stoop to something like that.

Kerrey is smashing FOX, but FOX asked for permission to make the background public. What Kerrey is saying is that they LIE to the press when they give "background".

Bob Kerrey just squandered his creditibility by slamming FOX for the briefing transcript. The White House issued this as I understand it...

"Occasionally fair & balanced" I think Fox News hit a nerve today!!
I hate when that happens
To: mombonn
Why is this audience SO anti-Bush? It seems REALLY partisan-packed, doesn't it?

Either Sen. Kerrey wants the truth or not. If the truth is on "backgound", so be it.

they started off by saying there were a ot of distraction today and just moved on. Thompson, Lehman and Fielding all aggressively addressed the issue. The dems as usual are ignoring the whole obvious contradiction.

He claimed he voted on the Republican presidential primary in 2000. A lot of Democrats voted on the Republican ticket in the primary- for McCain.

Yep - I think they sure did hit a nerve today - just as you said. Hopefully - the Dems are running pretty scared right about now.... (wishful thinking anyway...)
